We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

Celebrate the season with our exclusive Miku Holiday Kaiseki, a chef-curated 7-course dining experience, available for $180. This elegant menu can be elevated with optional premium beverage pairings. Miku is truly one of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver! The food is consistently outstanding, offering a perfect blend of flavors and presentation. Their signature Aburi sushi is a must-try and never disappoints. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with stunning waterfront views that add to the dining experience. It's the ideal spot for any occasion, whether it’s a casual outing or a special celebration. The service is top-notch—professional, attentive, and always friendly. Our server is very charming and accommodating, our food was exceptionally good, fish freshness and quality is outstanding. cocktail is very innovative and some with great recipe to try. Overall every dish is the right temperature and curate at table side nicely before we proceed to eat. Wild caught salmon anything is definitely worth trying ..... With my birthday celebration, our server gave us a great cheer for the dessert pair with plum wine. The ambience is very pleasant and all details of table was considered, our water glass was never empty and plates were changed after few dishes. All dishes timing came out just right, not waited long time for each dish . Just one thing about parking instruction , should give people more instructions before come in to dine at the restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner. The staff took excellent care of us, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was both lively and cozy.

Always excellent sushi (oshi) at Miku... nice atmosphere and good service. Would have enjoyed our usual order of unagi, but now that they've increased the price to $9 per piece(!!!) we can't justify it, no matter how good it is. I know the quality is there, but that's nuts....hope Miku will adjust
