We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

Celebrate the season with our exclusive Miku Holiday Kaiseki, a chef-curated 7-course dining experience, available for $180. This elegant menu can be elevated with optional premium beverage pairings. Always excellent sushi (oshi) at Miku... nice atmosphere and good service. Would have enjoyed our usual order of unagi, but now that they've increased the price to $9 per piece(!!!) we can't justify it, no matter how good it is. I know the quality is there, but that's nuts....hope Miku will adjust

This is a great restaurant for a celebration. We've been here twice in the las month for birthday dinners. All the menu items we tried were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the tofu salad, lamb chops and sablefish. Presentation is very artistic and the serving staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. We'll be back.

We had the Holiday Kaiseki this year (we came to try last year and loved it so became a repeat customer ha ha) and it was amazing. We loved the sashimi, the sushi and the waygu courses. Our waiter provided impeccable service, the food was very well paced and he offered helpful suggestions in a timely manner without coming off pushy. The alcoholic and non-alchoholic cocktails were both great! A definite treat!

Service by Miles at the bar was outstanding. He instantly made me comfortable. When making recommendations he wanted to know my tastes to help point me in the right direction. He definitely succeeded. With minor adjustments, thanks to Miles, I had the Holiday Kaiseki. NOT ONE BAD BITE from beginning to end of these 7 courses. Fish and seafood, fresh and bright. Wagyu Steak just the right amount of fat. The dessert of eggnog mousse and apple filling. Do I feel guilty? Yes. But I’d do it all over again. A shouldn’t miss meal.

I had several kinds of sashimi at the bar and all items were very fresh and tasted wonderful and excellently presented.
