We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Vancouver, and we have a lot of them. Specializing in aburi-style sushi, the plates are beautifully prepared and the flavours are distinct and harmonious. Absolute bliss for the mouth. The views are pretty spectactular as well.

Excellent food, fresh, beautifully served. Amazing taste and palate experience. I had however bad experience with service. Did a reservation 1 month and 16 day in advance, for a special occasion, with a request for a table with view in the back. Upon arriving, we were offered a tiny table in the middle, the kind of table they keep for walk-ins. Manager justified it by saying that they cannot satisfy everyone's request. But...that is the whole point of doing reservation a long time in advance. I had done similar reservation a few years back and request had been honored and overall service was a lot better then. Our server was very nice and helpful, but was not providing the attention and care i would have expected for a place that presents itslef as high end. The quality of service and care has dropped a lot, this was disapointing and we are very unlikely to ever return.

As always it was the best meal! Our fave vancouver date spot. We celebrate all our special occasions here. Thanks Miku! Salmon oshi is of course the go-to order but we did try the blue fin nigiri trio plate and it was so delicious. 10/10.

Incredible food and service. My waiter was so helpful in guiding my choices and his service was impeccable. The food was outta this world great.
