Mijo Modern Mexican does The Big Game like nowhere else, we will have menu specials and amazing sharable platter options and tons of drinks, as always! Reserving a table will require a $165 per person minimum spend on food and drinks. Any group who books a table will be guaranteed seating with a view of the game from 2pm until 9pm.

The food was great. I wish the waiter let us know the guacamole was additional before agreeing to it. We felt rushed during our ordering, lacked a warmth in our interaction. The food runner was more welcoming than our waiter.

I made a reservation for this restaurant at 7pm and I still had to wait another 30 mins. Not a great way to start. The food was tasteless. I couldn’t really taste any flavor at all. The street corn didn’t taste like much either which was disappointing. The food came quick and the service was great. This will be my one and only time coming.

Ordered the lobster tacos and chicken fajitas. Both were really good and cooked perfectly. We ordered street corn and asparagus for our sides. The coco flan came in a chocolate skull. Food and ambiance was overall awesome. Service was OK - felt like she was in charge of too much tables. Overall a good experience but most likely won’t return. It’s a one time experience.

Second visit to Mijo only because our son wanted to check it out. It's definitely a loud restaurant to where you have to speak louder than normal to others at your table. Hostesses need to seat you with a menu. Instead we sat a few minutes at our table looking around, waiting for menus from the waiter. The portions resemble bar or appetizer food and are pretty skimpy, although good. Margaritas for $17 are tiny, four sips and gone. Chips and salsa are very good. Waiter very friendly and with water refills, they were on it. We appreciated that. However, there are too many restaurants to choose from. We won't go again.

This was my second time at Mijo and it did not disappoint. I had the chorizo and eggs and it was to die for. My husband had the chilaquiles and that was amazing too. And my daughter had the churro French toast. Are you kidding me? Incredible. We will be back!

The food was delicious, especially the guacamole. Our server was great. I wish i could remember her name, but it was quite loud. Upon arrival, we weren’t greeted by the host staff. I had to ask for one’s attention to communicate our reservation. When we were led to our table, the host seemed frustrated when I refused a table right next to the kitchen. She pointed to an alternative table, asked if it was acceptable, I said yes, and she walked away. We escorted ourselves to our table. I ordered a vodka/soda, but it seemed that the carbonation was off. The drink just didn’t taste palatable. The server was very accommodating and offered an alternative, but I respectfully declined. At the end of our meal, our server made sure we had all of the containers we needed to take the rest home. That was much appreciated! Overall, it was just a very busy evening, so of course this can contribute to the overall experience. We do plan to visit again in the future.

Bella was our server and was great. We spilled a glass of water on the table and two other servers came to help out, and replaced one of our items because water got on to it. Now thats service! We have been to Mijo’s a dozen times and the food and service never disappoint. Thank you to Bella and the two servers that helped out… 🤙🏼

The server was great and food came out quickly. The chips and salsa were good, but the food was terrible. Just no flavor and I had the lobster enchiladas you can tell were piped out of a piping bag. The food was very disappointing!
