Our food and drinks were amazing and so was the service. My wife and I would, in no doubt, go back to Mijo, we will highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice ambience and we sat outside on the patio as it was a nice night. We sat in a booth that had comphy cushions but then you sank down which made the table too tall so we all ended up sitting on the pillows provided. Our server was good but took a while to get to our table initially and then took a while to get drinks (once ordered) and refils to our table. Food was delayed. We got there at 7pm and didnt get out until 8:30 and we ordered pretty promptly but everything just took a while. One busser of the entire section and our waiter looked very busy, but both I thought we good at their job and appeared pleasant. Over all food was fair but not great. Both my family members noted their food was somewhat greasy but my shrimp taco was pretty good, althought the single corn shell fell apart easily. No blended drinks available like Margarita's so I orded on the rocks with house liquor but still cost $15. My soup was delivered without a spoon, and the silverware at the table does not include any spoons. Family member wanted Lemonaid or limeaid and they only had Pink lemonaide. Over all not a place we will likely go again for the price and there is far better Mexican food 15 minutes away.

I apologize for the service delays you experienced during your visit and I will look into increasing staffing levels on the patio. Always a great experience. Good food, service and ambience! We come back once a month usually and are always pleased with everything.

This being my second time here, I was expecting. It to be better than the first, and unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. I had raved about the Mexican chocolate ice cream that they give you for your birthdays. And when they brought out the birthday ice cream for my daughter. It was strawberry, not the mexican hot chocolate flavor, which made me look bad in front of her. My wife had complained last time that her margarita was weak and my daughter ordered a mango margarita, and she also echoed my wife's sentiments. To me, all Mexican plates should come with Rice and beans is standard. Every mexican restaurant you go to has that.They don't do that here

We were seated at the patio and we sunk in the chair please have the seats leveled up or the table leveled down that is the only concern the food was superb I was planning to go back soon.

Food was just ok, presentation looks better than it tastes. Started with chips, salsa, and guacamole. Salsa has no spice, guacamole and chips are good. Rest of the food lacked flavor. Margaritas were missing something, you would hope they’d be better at $17 a pop. I don’t think I’ll be returning here. Waitress was ok but slow. It was my husband’s birthday which I included in our reservation but only the hostess acknowledged it. Beautiful restaurant but I wish it delivered in flavor.

While the food was excellent and I do mean excellent I was disappointed with the service. We ordered all at once and were told our orders would be coursed out but ended up with all the food on the table at once. Also, dirty or empty dishes were left on table when we started on next dish. I am not sure I would take guests there to dine.

Took us 25min+ to be seated after arriving on time for reservation, we had to check in with them twice before they acknowledged this. Non-alcoholic selection only had Heineken zero and then margaritas virgin, apps came before drinks and one drink was forgotten.
