    The food was good but the wine pairing and volume of the drinks were really poor. The wine quality was average but 5 drinks for 9 main courses and 2 sweet wines for 3 desserts over 4 hours was simply poor and ruined our experience.

    Amazing chef with his team presented us with the most amazing food combinations with excellent non alcoholic drinks that complimented the food and enhanced the flavour. We had taster menu to get the full experience

    In upscale restaurants, when a guest leaves the table, their napkin should be replaced or at least refolded with cloth gloves. Aside from this admittedly improvable detail, the experience was certainly pleasant.

    Second visit to this restaurant and it was as good as the first time. The food was delicious and the service was really professional, friendly and relaxed at the same time. The sommelier was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and served us some great wines. We would definitely go back again

    Incredible food, worthy of the price tag attached. A fantastic setting coupled with very knowledgeable waitstaff who are not overly attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone.

    Food was wonderful. Varied and flavourful. Service was “ok”. Nothing wrong just not “right” The wine list is horrifically priced. We spent into four figures for four! The Sommelier was at best ok at worst indifferent. Overall the atmosphere was “reserved”. Our table was so spaced out we needed to raise voices to be heard. Not pleasant. Overall it was an interesting experience at a price (nearly £3k for four) I would not return.

    Probably the best meal my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Every course was beautiful in both presentation and taste. Worth every bit of the Michelin 2 stars. Support that with attentive, knowledgeable and kind service, perfectly judged decor and an amazing wine list and you have the perfect dining experience. Understandably expensive but worth every penny for the artistry and care taken over every aspect of the meal. If I were local and could afford it I’d be a regular so maybe I’ve been saved from myself by this being a special treat. Thoroughly recommend it.

    If you are looking for first class cuisine, something different and imaginative, and are ready for a single tasting menu, this is the place for you. The lovely conservatory setting on Midsummer Common is a bonus. The wait staff were excellent, and judging by the food, the kitchen staff too. The tasting menu has many courses but some are quite small, so the entire menu is not difficult to consume. All were excellent, and some quite amazing. One of us chose the non-alcoholic drinks pairing, which was equally adventurous and good. Two of us chose one of the wine pairing options, but although each wine was interesting and well-paired, for me at any rate, there were probably too many wines. If I visit again, I would simply drink Champagne: a bottle between two would be adequate. Needless to say, this level of dining isn't inexpensive: the bill was quite impressive too, but nonetheless, I considered it to represent good value. Not the sort of place one frequents often, but for something gastronomically special, it's definitely a superior experience.
