MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Patio reservations are available on a same day first come basis only. Please call the restaurant to secure patio seating. Patio availability is dependent on weather. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Available for dine-in or take-out, the "Feast", consists of bread, seven entrée pasta dishes, and chocolate chip cookies for you to enjoy with friends and family for $70 per person. Please note that this is the only available menu for the evening. Our regular ala carte menu will not be available.

    The food was excellent. I had the eggplant parmigiana and it was the best I ever had. The service was friendly and assertive. I would highly recommend this place.

    Do yourself a favor and head to Mida - the ambience, food & service are well worth an evening. In particular, the arancini is crispy, flavorful and melt in your mouth good. The eggplant parm & bolognese were both incredibly flavorful. If anything, I would say the tiramisu was not my favorite I’ve had, but still good! We will definitely be back.

    MIDA is a modern but cozy restaurant nestled in the South End of Boston. The food was delicious, not your everyday Italian menu. The ambience was lovely and the waiter friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend! Great option for dinner before going to Symphony Hall.

    Pretty average lunch, we were quite disappointed. Some nice ingredients but dishes over-seasoned and not memorable otherwise. One pasta dish came out cold, was sent back, and had to wait another 15 mins or so for a new one. The whole service was slow to the point of distraction. Wait staff congregated around terminal near our table having a good ol' chat and gossip for much of the meal, which we found unprofessional and distracting. When we wanted to pay the check, our waitress was laughing and chatting to a colleague, ignoring us, which dragged things out further. We wouldn't return.

    Ive been here before and loved it. Last time we got warm bread, accurate menu from online. This time drove 1.5h bc of the advertised menu still had lasagna so I booked. Called to clarify menu and impossible to connect with anybody. Voicemail said leave a message which I did. Called 3x no call back. Tried to cancel and open table says call : but nobody picked up. Anyway went there and no the menu online is not what is in the restaurant. No warm bread offered this time is a shame. Ordered mussels (tiny) very spice, bread too hard. The pasta bolognese was very delicious and burrata as well. Overall it was 5* before 2* this time.

    My first time eating at MIDA was yesterday....the service was great! The hostess greeted me the moment I walked in and escorted me to a great table. My server was also very attentive and check on our table. It was cool being able to see the kitchen staff cook and communicate. For food I had North Shore Fritto Misto, my entree I had the Rock Shrimp Carbonara, and Tiramisu. All the food was good. The Rock Shrimp Carbonara was the best pasta I've ever had at restaurant in my life! I wish the Tiramisu had chocolate sauced poured on it or caramel instead of expresso, overall it did not take away from it being a well made dessert. For drinks I had two Amalfi Coast's. One I kept original, the other I subbed the vodka for tequila. Both drinks were made well! I'm not a fan of grapefruit, but the drinks didn't taste like it had grapefruit in it. I'll be back to try out more food for sure! I had a good time. Everything came out in a timely fashion.

    Pleasant dining experience with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The food came out quick and was delicious! Looking forward to going back.
