MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Patio reservations are available on a same day first come basis only. Please call the restaurant to secure patio seating. Patio availability is dependent on weather. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Second time visiting, unfortunately didn’t quite stood up against to its first impression. Delays on table accommodation even though a reservation was made with anticipation, staff had an “I don't know I don't care” attitude that made uncomfortable to request for their services. Nevertheless, food is great and drinks are good.

Love coming to Mida. Never had a bad dish. Wait staff, bartenders and front of house always kind and hospitable. Thank you look forward to next time!

I am torn about how to describe my experience. The food was, to be fair, excellent. Wines were solid and reasonably priced for the area. BUT I swear, do not come here if you have any post-dinner plans. I read the reviews and did not believe it would happen to me but it did. The food didn’t arrive until a full hour after we had put in our order. I know Friday nights are hard, and they had a large party inside ~10 people, but a restaurant in the South End should know how to handle this by now. We left hungry and irritated. I think they comped a couple items which we appreciate but I wouldn’t recommend the experience we had to anyone. I bet if you had hours to kill and the waiter was better at refilling wine it would be a very enjoyable long dinner (though the mosquito situation outside was miserable, would not recommend).

3rd time I’ve dined at MIDA, always a wonderful experience from the food to the service. Really appreciated the extra hospitality with my partner and I celebrating our anniversary. Thank you!

Truly unique and delicious elevated Italian food. Everything we ate was incredible. Service was great too — we were offered several complimentary items including dishes to try and Prosecco for celebrating our anniversary. One of our new favorite spots in Boston!

The cocktails and pasta were once again outstanding! This is the best gnocchi in the city IMO. The only disappointment was the apps. The fritto misto was dry and sometimes even crumbly, and our duck wings were overdone too. We've had both before and loved them so hopefully just an off night.

In this day and age, it's so nice to find a reasonably priced fine dining experience. We ordered an appetizer to share, 2 entrees, 1 side, and a bottle of wine. Check was under $150, and delicious to boot! We had the Eggplant Parmesan and the Short Rib Lasagna with Arancini to start... all well presented and tasty, but the Crispy Polenta side dish was amazing. I could skip dinner and eat 2 of those next time. Had read some reviews about slow service, so I allotted a full 2 hours before our show, but our waiter was very attentive and we were out in 90 minutes. All in all a great experience and we would enthusiastically return.

The food was great quality, not the best Italian I've ever eaten but was certainly tasty. However, the service was lacklustre, very disappointed.
