MIDA is an inspired neighborhood Italian restaurant by award winning Chef, Douglass Williams. Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are all about supremely delicious food and warm hospitality.

Dinner is served Monday - Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Lunch is served Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM -4:00 PM.

Reservations for indoor dining can be made in advance online. Patio reservations are now available for booking online or over the phone. Walk-ins are always welcome. Parties larger than six should call the restaurant directly to book a table.

The restaurant is very noisy even in the back during midweek. Appetizers were not as good as previous visits and the wait time to get our entree was long.

Enjoyed an early lunch with friends. Service was very attentive. Food came quickly and was ver good.

Really good food and server. Short rib lasagna was outstanding; however, conversation was difficult due to high noise levels and quite smoky with the open kitchen.

Great experience! Very friendly staff! The food was excellent and the quality was excellent. The drinks and wine list were also very good!

We’ve been to MIDA in the South End and the food at the Newton location was just as great. Service however was an issue. Server took about 15 minutes to even approach our table after we were seated and continued to go long periods without checking in or taking orders. When asked for the cocktail menu the server simply put in for second round of drinks which we did not order. Overall service was very slow and we noticed several tables around us receive their food long after we had ordered and continued to wait.
