MIDA is an inspired neighborhood Italian restaurant by award winning Chef, Douglass Williams. Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are all about supremely delicious food and warm hospitality.

Dinner is served Monday - Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Lunch is served Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM -4:00 PM.

Reservations for indoor dining can be made in advance online. Patio reservations are now available for booking online or over the phone. Walk-ins are always welcome. Parties larger than six should call the restaurant directly to book a table.

Excellent meal. Long wait for chicken dinner after ordering. Waiter checked in with updates. It shouldn’t have taken so long, especially at 5:30, but all else was just terrific.

We waited an hour and 15 for our food but the waitress was apologetic and gave us some free food items. The food was great.

We had a wonderful early dinner on the Walnut street balcony. It was shaded, so very pleasant and it was easy to hear each other. There was a bit of traffic noise, but it was much more conducive to conversation and it still had a lively vibe. The food was outstanding! The 4 of us had char, chicken, lasagna, tagliatelle. For desert, raspberry sorbet, pistachio sorbet, tiramisu, almond cake. Everything got a rave. Service was also outstanding.

We really enjoy the thin crust pizza as well as the chicken Caesar salad. Excellent service and delicious food. We will be back for sure!

The bread and mussels appetizer were amazing. Pasta dishes and pizza were good, but I wasn’t wowed.

This is our second time at Mida in Newton and everything was perfect. I took my grandparents here, because they came up for the day to visit and they were not disappointed! Mida serves great food! We had wine, pizza, and pasta! Our waiter Dakarie was great and this is the second time we’ve had him. We’ll definitely be back!
