MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open on East Boston's waterfront. Our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated directly on the edge of the pier with panoramic views of the downtown Boston Skyline. The restaurant is surrounded by the water on three sides with a massive patio that is perfect for date night and large groups at all hours of the day. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, and a gorgeous lighting profile make this location the perfect destination for all occasions. It was our first time at Mida - EAST BOSTON and we will definitely be back! We sat outside on a beautiful day. Our server was fantastic, sharing his favorite choices, trying to light a birthday candle in the wind, and being very mindful and considerate of one of our guest who has a gluten allergy.

It was a mixed bag.... the food was overall mediocre. The short rib lasagna was terrible... and I don't think I've ever said that about food. It was actually inedible. We ordered a pepperoni pizza appetizer that was good but not anything to speak about compared to other pizza options in Boston. The desserts in general were not well recieved.... the citrus cake was terrible. Service was lack luster... but not terrible. Overall a huge disappointment.

Mida is a gem! The food is creative without being fussy, the service is attentive and fun - in E. Boston, you can't beat the view from the patio. We didn't try the pizza but it looked excellent. The swordfish was topnotch, the short rib lasagna was mouthwatering. The wine list features lots of interesting offerings, prices are reasonable.

Laura was awesome and got us an outside table when we reserved inside. The food and atmosphere was great. We will be back.

Food was good not outstanding. Bolognese was light on the amount of sauce. Chicken was slightly overcooked making it dry. Aroncini and burata appetizers were great. Drinks were good. Out of many white wines which my friend wanted.

We had already visited the south end location and loved it. The East Boston location is a must-visit as well. We went for a birthday party with a large group and could not have had a better experience. The views of the city are unbeatable, The staff is fantastic, knowledgeable and kind. And to top it all off the food is phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back.
