MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open on East Boston's waterfront. Our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated directly on the edge of the pier with panoramic views of the downtown Boston Skyline. The restaurant is surrounded by the water on three sides with a massive patio that is perfect for date night and large groups at all hours of the day. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, and a gorgeous lighting profile make this location the perfect destination for all occasions. We had an absolutely fantastic experience! This location had a great atmosphere and attentive staff. What really made the evening special, though, was the exceptional service provided by Nicole. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Nicole was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. Her attention to detail and friendly, genuine demeanor made the evening even more enjoyable. The food, of course, was phenomenal – beautifully presented and delicious. But it was Nicole’s outstanding service that truly made the night memorable. MIDA East Boston has definitely earned a repeat customer, thanks to her efforts! Highly recommend.

Great menu and wine list. The item I ordered was overcooked and I was given another entree. I was treated well, so no complaints other than the restaurant might consider another way of warming the lasagna entree prior yo serving.

It was our first time at Mida - EAST BOSTON and we will definitely be back! We sat outside on a beautiful day. Our server was fantastic, sharing his favorite choices, trying to light a birthday candle in the wind, and being very mindful and considerate of one of our guest who has a gluten allergy.

It was a mixed bag.... the food was overall mediocre. The short rib lasagna was terrible... and I don't think I've ever said that about food. It was actually inedible. We ordered a pepperoni pizza appetizer that was good but not anything to speak about compared to other pizza options in Boston. The desserts in general were not well recieved.... the citrus cake was terrible. Service was lack luster... but not terrible. Overall a huge disappointment.

The atmosphere, service, food, everything was great. Perfect for a special dinner or even lunch. The view was beautiful at night but I bet even better during the day.

Mida is a gem! The food is creative without being fussy, the service is attentive and fun - in E. Boston, you can't beat the view from the patio. We didn't try the pizza but it looked excellent. The swordfish was topnotch, the short rib lasagna was mouthwatering. The wine list features lots of interesting offerings, prices are reasonable.
