We have thoughtfully renovated a historic 1938 log building to a beautiful rustic chic atmosphere. Executive Chef Michael will take great care to provide our Guests a dining experience like no other. Our menu will offer a selection of ala cart steaks, seafood, salads, and shareables. We also offer an array of craft cocktails, beer, and an extensive wine selection. Michael and Maggie Wilp share a passion for quality food and service, careful attention to details, and are determined to treat every person that walks through the door as a welcome Guest.

We chose Michael’s for our 10th Wedding Anniversary dinner due to the incredible reviews we read. Turned out to be the perfect decision. Our sever, Mandy, was very busy but never made us feel ignored. She was fantastic. Their entire support staff could not have been better. From the hosts, to the server, to the runners, and even the bussers. Every single person was in a great mood and took perfect care of us. Of course, the food was amazing!! Some of the best we have ever had. We can’t wait to return someday!

Our dinner was awesome! We are Petoskey locals and this was our first visit. We had a sushi appetizer and both of us had steaks. I worked for many years in New York City and dined at some of the greatest steakhouses. Our steaks we had last evening were comparable! No question these were the best steaks we enjoyed since we moved to Michigan 10 years ago. Service was perfect - Thanks Vincent! Even the background music was memorable. We will be back and bring friends.

The pork chop and short ribs were excellent. Virginia is a terrific waitperson. Never disappoints.

I had the short ribs…Amazing!! No need for a knife they fell apart. Spouse had Ribeye again cooked the way he asked tender enough to cut with butter knife. Lots of flavor. Eric our server was attentive and everyone worked together. Can’t wait to go back again!!
