Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 55 years!

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.

The belief that every meal shared should be special is why this restaurant takes time to carefully select and prepare the freshest Chinese dishes, adding just three extra ingredients - quality, experience and time.

Our core belief is that we are a local restaurant, open year round for local residents and visitors to the resort alike. We"ve worked for many years with our local suppliers to continue to bring you the best experience of Chinese food in Blackpool.

The starter was delicious and the main course was amazing. The menu was really good and a good variety on offer. definitely would recommend .

Absoulte best Chinese I've bn to from service to food....outstanding would highly recommend and great value for money. Will deffo be back

The food was delicious, I would return to blackpool just to revisit this restaurant. The curry was the best I've ever had and the cocktails were great too

If you are staying in Blackpool you must book (and do book if you want to eat there as it is very popular) and eat at Michael Wan's Mandarin! The food is first class and the service is amazing. We ate far too much but wanted to really try everything as it all looked and sounded so good! The kids loved it and we ordered the sampler starter plate which they tried everything on, which is not much like them. They loved the ribs, which normally they wouldn't eat. The restaurant wasn't big and had a great atmosphere, really worth a visit.

Really good quality food and drinks, welcoming staff and good seating arrangements. The restaurant cater well for birthday parties and it is a really clean and tidy place to visit.

No surprises as I’ve been here before, this place oozes quality. Everything about a dining experience was 5*. Obviously and most importantly the main reason we go is for the unbelievably good food. We spent £200 between 5 of us mates and had to leave some as we were stuffed! Beers and tips included also, this is fantastic value for money. You won’t regret going there. The Mandarin team were excellent as always, thank you guys!
