你好, welcome to the Mandarin!

Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 55 years!

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.

The belief that every meal shared should be special is why this restaurant takes time to carefully select and prepare the freshest Chinese dishes, adding just three extra ingredients - quality, experience and time.

Our core belief is that we are a local restaurant, open year round for local residents and visitors to the resort alike. We"ve worked for many years with our local suppliers to continue to bring you the best experience of Chinese food in Blackpool.

We attended for our Granddaughters 12th birthday🎉 Area was set up with table balloon, nothing was too much trouble and it’s our Granddaughters favourite Chinese ❤️❤️

This is our 3rd visit to Blackpool and our third visit here. Each time the food and service has been outstanding. It was my daughter’s 11th birthday meal this visit and there was a balloon on the table, they came out singing happy birthday with a desert too. A lovely touch. Would most definitely recommend and will continue to visit on our trips to Blackpool.

We come to Blackpool every couple of months for this Chinese, always delicious. Highly recommend

We have been coming to the Mandarin for 43 yrs. One of our favourites.. Always brilliant.. obviously we will be back..

Very friendly helpful staff, although took quite awhile for them to take our order… food really nice.

We try to visit every time we are in Blackpool have been coming for 10 plus years now You could every so often pop your head through the door and ask if there is a table for 2 or ? But not anymore you do need to book in advance as it is so popular Not a cheap meal but to be fair neither is McDonald’s anymore! the food at Michael wan’s is always very good and plentiful and the service is always excellent it is a great place for couples or families Plus larger groups and special occasions are also well catered for

Good food, great service, lovely restaurant. Extensive wine menu and nice selection of food. Some larger groups in who were noisy at the time which was unfortunate as we were in a party of 2.
