Great atmosphere, you can tell they really care about their guests. Service was kind and energetic, slightly forgetful but I work in hospitality so I get that sometimes it does catch up to you. 🙏 On the colder nights the fire is going but it would be nice if someone could continue to mend to it as it did go out halfway through our meal. Very mixed on my opinion on the price, as food is reasonably priced for some and then quite pricey for others. But overall it’s a beautiful place with beautiful people, I’ll definitely come back, even if just for the $10 margaritas on taco Tuesday! 😏

Been here a few times when its been very busy to absolutly great food & service ! Not this time unfortunately, not very busy around 1pm and food we ordered came out and the Burger was great but the roast of the day (beef) was chewy and salty ? not very appealing ! I had the Black Angus Scotch Fillet which presentation not that exiting with 6 x roast potatoes but way over salted and couldnt eat it, was like eating salt very poor so i left it. On the waitress picking up the plate we mentioned the over seasoning of salt ? But didnt respond or follow up. Not a great day, maybe different chef/kitchen staff were on but reservations about going all the way there for that Very dissapointed as it was a family occasion and were left going to KFC to fill up !!!! Not sure if we'll make it back, maybe just for drinks on a hot afternoon.

We got a cosy booth on the window with it raining outside. Such a nice pub in the hills. Excellent food and service! We were the family that had a young toddler and spilt a full pint of beer everywhere. They were quick to cleanup and replace our drink no worries. Thanks for looking after us!

Food was great, fairly noisy inside, we sat outside where they had the plastic awnings and heaters on so it was less noisy, they did have a guy singing inside as well, not a place to go to if you are wanting to sit inside and chat alot 😁 other than that it was a great afternoon.

Went there for Father's day and it was our second visit and we ordered the beef roast and it was advertised as medium rate but came out well done and we got like 2 very small slices of beef which was really disappointing as the last time we got a roast dinner, it was way more beef. The kids meals were great, perfecr portion size. Went to Micawber for the roast dinner and left disappointed.

Came for Father's Day. We had the roast dinner. The food arrived promptly, and the service was with a smile. All very helpful. I'm happy to return.
