Mia's Italian Kitchen, located at the riverside end of King Street in Old Town Alexandria, is rooted in family. Our menu is filled with homestyle traditional Italian recipes sourced from owner Dave Nicholas' Sicilian grandmother. An elegant wine list accompanies beer and craft cocktails on the beverage menu. Dine downstairs and watch the signature Sicilian-style rectangular pizzas cook in the 800-degree brick oven, or upstairs to view the energetic open kitchen. Open for lunch and dinner, plus bottomless weekend brunch.

Mia's is a newfound favorite of the family's - we have been to both dinner and brunch, and both have been excellent experiences. From kind and helpful waiters to delicious food, it has impressed all members of the family. Fan favorites for us include the Tartufo e Funghi Pizza, the Italian Scramble (brunch), and the Tiramisu may be some of the best in the area. Definitely would recommend make a reservation if you can - it is sometimes hard to do walk-ins with how popular this place is!

I made a reservation to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, but we arrived a little early. We were hoping to get a table but unfortunately, the host could not accommodate us &/or find a table for us, we had to wait. Well we decided to sit at the bar. I did not appreciate that and sitting at the bar wasn't the same as sitting at the table, especially for the occasion.
