Mia's Italian Kitchen, located at the riverside end of King Street in Old Town Alexandria, is rooted in family. Our menu is filled with homestyle traditional Italian recipes sourced from owner Dave Nicholas' Sicilian grandmother. An elegant wine list accompanies beer and craft cocktails on the beverage menu. Dine downstairs and watch the signature Sicilian-style rectangular pizzas cook in the 800-degree brick oven, or upstairs to view the energetic open kitchen. Open for lunch and dinner, plus bottomless weekend brunch.

Our server Glinda was wonderful. She answered all of our questions about menu items and was very attentive. Our food was served piping hot and our drinks were kept filled. Servings were generous and cashing out was easy; not the usual lengthy ordeal. We look forward to returning.

We were in Alexandria for the weekend and decided to try Mia’s . It was amazing start to finish the atmosphere was great and the pasta was al dente which was perfect and the sauce was amazing . Our server Ray Jan was fabulous as well. He was very informative and I have a food allergy to onions which makes it tough at an Italian restaurant he went the extra mile to recommend sauces that where onion free and it was a great choice I had the chicken pomodoro and was very friendly and a great experience with him . We will definitely be back thank you again Ray Jan !!!

Incredibly delicious food! Our reservation was on time. Everything was cooked to perfection and our waitress was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Will definitely return!

Amazing food! I had Nonna’s Sunday Gravy and it was fantastic. Next time I’m in Alexandria, Mia’s will be the first restaurant I go to. You won’t be disappointed, staff was attentive, food was mouth watering.

We ordered two dishes the noodles were perfect al dente and the other was undercooked. Overall loved the experience and my wife enjoyed her birthday dinner.
