   I recently visited Mia’s Italian Kitchen using a voucher gifted to me, and while the food was absolutely delicious, the overall experience had some downsides. Firstly, the restrictions on when the voucher could be used were quite limiting. It was only valid Monday to Thursday, or for a short window on Fridays and Saturdays. Unfortunately, all Saturday slots were fully booked, and it couldn’t be used on a Sunday, which was a little frustrating. When we did visit, the restaurant was incredibly busy, which made it extremely noisy—so much so that it was difficult to have a conversation. The service was quite slow, likely due to how busy they were, though the staff were very friendly and apologetic. However, two of our dishes were forgotten, and we had to remind them twice before they arrived. That said, the food itself was really lovely, and the wine was excellent. The biggest issue we had was with the bill. Despite handing over our vouchers at the start (£50 each, totaling £100), the full amount was initially charged without the vouchers being deducted. Thankfully, this was quickly corrected when we pointed it out. It was also a little disappointing that the voucher couldn’t be used for drinks, meaning we still had to pay extra. Overall, while the food and staff were great, the noise level, slow service, and strict voucher conditions took away from the experience. I’d consider visiting again, but perhaps at a quieter time.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Excellent food and drink and wonderfully attentive staff. Lovely experience.

   Good service, great food, warm welcome as always. Got a bit noisy as not much to absorb noise in the decor
