“Mi Vida” translates to “My Life.” However, in Mexico, “Mi Vida” means much more. “Mi Vida” is a term of endearment bestowed on close family and friends to signify love, care and importance. When one says, “Mi Vida,” they are telling someone special how much they mean to them. MI VIDA describes how we feel about our team and our guests. It is our expression of Mexican culture and cuisine as interpreted through the lens of Chef Roberto Santibañez. Our menu is rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.

    Overall average, but most of all felt very rushed. Barely got my butt in the chair before the guac was being pushed. When we did get the guacamole the entrees came out 5 minutes later and my side didn’t come out until we were 2/3rds done our meal. Service was good yet over eager. Guac was very good but the enchiladas and tacos were average at best.

    The service was amazing despite there being a concert. The drinks did take a bit but nothing over 15 mins. The food was absolutely incredible, everything we ordered from the birria to the enchiladas de mole, guacamole, esquite, plantains and our drinks was superb! Am definitely looking forward to coming here again.

    I could go here everyday. Great chips and salsa. Three tacos are terrific. Excellent service.

    Great restaurant. Out of all Mi Vida’s, this is the prettiest location. On point service, delicious food (just a bit salty), delicious drinks, friendly staff. Chef can work on less salt, but Overall I would give 5 stars and def come back.

    We had an awesome experience and really enjoyed our time. We often visit Washington DC, either on business or for pleasure, and it can be daunting to try newer places when there are so many wonderful restaurants within the city. However, this is now our 3rd or 4th time going to Mi Vida, and that's because they do dining the right way! The staff are amazing, kind, and really knowledgeable about the food selections. This time around we visited the location 2X, once with server Elizabeth and once with Jose P., and both experiences were exceptional. They were super helpful and asked pertinent questions to tailor our experience. We love the ambiance and energy of the restaurant which is in a prime location, easy to find. The prices are great with portions that could make any foodie proud. The food itself is delicious and there are so many options (definitely try the pork shank/chamorro, tendeeeerrrrr) and don't limit yourself to just one dish if you've got a group to go with/can share. Again, what really makes this place AMAZING is their wonderful staff. Even the staff greeting you are exceptional, kind, and helpful from the very beginning. Thank you again to Elizabeth and Jose P. who made this visit to DC and MI Vida well worth it! We'll be back on our next visit!

    Wonderful guacamole and duck appetizer, nice selection of cocktails. Staff was efficient and friendly. Great place to eat before Shakespeare Theatre or Cap One Arena. Would have given 5 stars if the noise level allowed conversation without shouting.

    The family style meal was great! Perfect serving sizes and time between courses. Only odd thing was the payment at the end but otherwise we had a great time. Would definitely bring a group there again.
