“Mi Vida” translates to “My Life.” However, in Mexico, “Mi Vida” means much more. “Mi Vida” is a term of endearment bestowed on close family and friends to signify love, care and importance. When one says, “Mi Vida,” they are telling someone special how much they mean to them. MI VIDA describes how we feel about our team and our guests. It is our expression of Mexican culture and cuisine as interpreted through the lens of Chef Roberto Santibañez. Our menu is rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.

It was really really loud as there was a concert across the street. Our server was really good and attentive. Food was so-so, not like the table side guacamole you used to get at Rosa Mexicana.

Excellent authentic Mexican regional cuisines. We went back a week after our first dining at Mi Vida and will return again. Sometimes noisy, sometimes quiet.

Food was absolutely fantastic. Our server was attentive to all of our needs and was a pleasure to deal with. The appetizer sampler platter was a great starter for everyone to share. We were a larger group and there was no point where our drinks weren’t filled or we were waiting on anything. The only negative is that we didn’t leave room for dessert.

overall another nice visit. The background music is way too loud. It may be ok for the bar but not in the dining area. We could not heard each other. The guacamole is good but too little an amount. The lighting is too dim in particular walkways to the restroom.

Carlos was fantastic, as was the entire team. Good was delicious—guacamole and chips and then the pollo chicken. I’ll be back.

Great place for dinner before a show at the theater, an event at Verizon Center or touring the neighborhood. The staff is welcoming, atmosphere dramatic, and food is very good. We had lunch and enjoyed huevos rancheros and pescado tacos. Nice zip to the spicy sauces.

The prices were high, BUT we were in DC, so we expected it. The food was fantastic. Our server, Christian, was on it. I will go back if I'm at the Capital One area again.

Food and service was really good. The aesthetic of the place was also very nice. Would recommend trying the ribeye steak. Cocktails were delicious as well.
