Situated in the heart of Merchant City, Mharsanta brings a taste of Scotland to you. We have a passion for using seasonal, local produce from Scotland and are here to ensure our guests have the very best experience from the moment you walk through the door.

We serve a variety of Scottish food from mussels and scallops to home cooked favourites including freshly landed fish and chips and steak and sausage pie. Our resident chef Dom and his team serve an array of culinary delights to suit every taste at affordable prices.

We are open 7 days a week from 12pm and offer a Dine In, Takeaway and Home Delivery service.

Our server, he was from France was fabulous. The food was superb. We are going back for the mussels. Yum!

Second time I have been and second time the food was cold. Food was just ok. Long wait for drinks. Most of the cocktails have whisky not much choice other than that.

This is the place where you go to realize the service staff doesn't need your tips. 30 minutes went by with no dessert or drinks that we ordered, it was wild, and when I found a server I just asked for the check without desserts so we could leave. Then I asked why there was a 10% service charge, and she said it was automatically applied to every check and I honestly have NO IDEA who served us at the end of it all, so idk who gets that money. The burger was a hard puck, and that wasn't even the worst part of the dinner. Can you just pay the slightest bit of attention to your diners? I'm American and I was ready to tip 20% but jfc

Very busy in restaurant so service was affected a bit, however the staff were lovely and the food was very good. Would certainly return & would recommend.

We had a very good evening. The staff were helpful. It had lovely atmosphere. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. The food portions were good and the food tasty. We had cullen skink soup, that was good, black pudding croquettes, haggis neeps and tatties for starters, for main -mussels, a big pan!teriyaki salmon and the fish and chips all excellent. Would have gone for deserts but we were stuffed by then. A lovely evening.

Thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the food. I had the sea bass on what seemed a 50/50 mix of pesto and mashed potatoes topped with a tomato concoction that had no place near fish beside broccoli that's only seasoning was steam. Honestly this course had a very slimming world recipe vibe to it and could have been done better at home. Apple pie soggy below and burnt on top finished off my last trip to Mharsanta.
