We had a reservation at 12.45 on a Saturday. We booked pretty last minute (about 30min before arrival) but had been pleased to find they had availability. But when we arrived there was no one in the restaurant. I mean no one. We called out, tried to look around, waited for 15min, but no one bothered to come out and serve us. I could see someone was on his phone sat out the back in the outside area, and he looked up and saw us, but decided to stay where he was. I guess only having one group of 3 for lunch in the entire place didn’t warrant them bothering…Extremely frustrating. I would be worried if I was the owners as this meant no one was standing at the bar/register and someone could easily have stolen something. We ended up having to find somewhere else to eat.

Lovely setting, excellent meal and charming service. Had a really wonderful experience. Would definitely dine here again next time we’re in London!
