Situated directly on the water overlooking the Hudson River, in the Battery Park section of Manhattan, diners will experience a fresh take on Mediterranean, Greek and seafood dishes created by Executive Chef Antelmo Ambrosio.
Mezze on the River boasts two outdoor dining terraces with direct Hudson River views in addition to indoor seating with floor-to-ceiling windows, giving diners an unobstructed view of the passing sailboats and yachts leaving the nearby North Cove Marina.

This restaurant is a gem. It's location by the side of the Hudson River is marvelous. The food is excellent and well presented. Our server was obviously new, and English was not her first language. But she was very pleasant and sought help from her colleagues quicky and efficiently.

I wanted to love this restaurant after walking by several times.. The views are great for sure. We sat outside but they pack the tables in so close that our other guest was jammed in next to the umbrella stand. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Wine list is abysmal and they did not have the only bottle we would have ordered. Appetizers were good. But my main, the pasta seafood in parchment was bland. The inside of the restaurant was tight as well and had a weird smell so glad we were outside.

great spot although difficult to find. we were encouraged to order dessert, we got the corn crème brûlée which was wonderful but would have been better if it was hot and not chilled. upon leaving the outdoor dining area, a mouse ran across my foot. overall good experience and great blood orange margarita

We were looking for a spot on the riverfront to have dinner. Mezze filled the bill. The food was fine. The service was uneven at best. The view was fantastic. If I were going to do it again I'd have cocktails and appetizers rather than ordering an entree.

Manager and hostess were incredibly rude to my wife and mother. We left before ordering. Up there w worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life.

Would only recommend coming here for drinks during happy hour other than that do not waste your time or money on this food it's absolutely atrocious. The tuna was previously frozen and the color was dark purple/blue definitely not what a tuna tartare should look like. The outside seating is the best thing they offer the inside looks dirty and the floors were soaking wet throughout the restaurant.

Mezze on the River , lovely menu , beautiful space and servers outstanding. Go for sunset and you won't regret it. We had the mix seafood with pasta in parchment paper , so flavorful and a generous portion. Another friend had the lamb chops , tender and well seasoned. We shared the mix dips and pita, not your typical pita they are thicker and grilled with the best char taste. Wine selection is ok. If your down in BP and go to Mezze you are away from the crowds and tourist trap food.
