Situated directly on the water overlooking the Hudson River, in the Battery Park section of Manhattan, diners will experience a fresh take on Mediterranean, Greek and seafood dishes created by Executive Chef Antelmo Ambrosio.
Mezze on the River boasts two outdoor dining terraces with direct Hudson River views in addition to indoor seating with floor-to-ceiling windows, giving diners an unobstructed view of the passing sailboats and yachts leaving the nearby North Cove Marina.

Paid for the 4th of July experience here and had a good time. I should note you can’t actually see the fireworks from the outdoor tables (trees block most of the view), but mostly everyone got up and walked to the riverside (like a 10 second walk) to see the fireworks. I appreciated the waiter letting us wait until after returning from the fireworks to receive our entrees hot. The one main complaint would be the music is super loud sitting outside on the patio. I went with my girlfriend so it wasn’t too bothersome, but I imagine it would be really annoying on a first date or business meal. The ambience and service were good, the main entree was great, but the dessert was subpar for the price. The food quality was definitely not worth the $150 per person pre fix (not including drinks), but the location near the fireworks was the main attractor anyway. Overall my girlfriend and I had a good time, but I would definitely not pay the $430 again for two people ordering the pre fix and one drink each.

The absolute worst “experience” I’ve ever had. From the obstructed view table, to the cold, overpriced food, everything was bad. We used to live right by this restaurant and had fond memories of the food and service but tonight was the worst meal I’ve ever had. Will never return and will tell others to stay away.

We went for the fireworks on the fourth and it was fantastic. The food was wonderful wonderful service amazing, and the view of the fireworks could not have been more perfect.

Incredible staff and even better food. Drinks were great and the front of house was accommodating to seating requests.

Not attentive service, started to pour outside and servers were not helpful in moving our party to the other table when the other table’s party never arrived. Not a pleasant experience, especially when celebrating a birthday. Wanted to love this place but very disappointed in the service provided

Stunning setting and excellent food on the Hudson River. Great place to go on a date or with friends for shared plates, or a full meal of food. Well priced wine list as well.
