The service was quite good. The hosts and table staff were neither obnoxiously ever-present nor ridiculously aloof. Nor acting as if they were serving the most rare and unusual food ever prepared. They were just helpful and knowledgeable and genuine, with great recommendations for food and wine. Was especially impressed the waiter came over to say 'good bye' and 'thank you' when he saw we had completed and were leaving. The food was wonderful. Caeser salads are so often underwhelming or overdressed; this one was crisp and creamy and well-spiced; the addition of several white anchovies perfect. The rigatoni in tomato cream sauce with sausage and a bit of spiced up heat was so, so good. Pasta was al dente perfect - not mushy, but also didn't leave me thinking I better drink more water so it could finish cooking and expanding in my stomach... as far too often happens. Finally, the overall price tag was less than I expected. This was my first time, it will not be my last.

2nd visit food was still very good, loved my carbonara! tre mozzarella appetizer is so good and a decaf affogato with their homemade gelato YUM

As locals, this is one of our favorite Italian places in the area. Food is excellent and service is very personal. All the pasta dishes are great, and the grilled octopus is our favorite appetizer for sure. Get reservations early because it's a small intimate place. Parking is a pain so be patient!

We had a great experience. Great food, great service, and reasonable prices when comparing to the "tourist" restaurants nearby. The only negative is the small entrance and lack of area to wait while our table was being prepared.
