La ville portuaire de Princeton by the Sea se trouve à 32 km au sud de San Francisco, sur l'autoroute 1. When a restaurant is busy on a Monday evening, you know it is special. The food is consistently good no matter what you order. Consistency at restaurants today is no small feat. This restaurant is worth checking out.

We have been going for years, but this was different. Our server seemed distracted and not interested in us. The food was good overall but the shrimp was overcooked. We don’t see a need to go back at this point.

After many years away from HMB, we are back and enjoying all of the restaurants with our Sister and Brother in Law. They were very happy with the choices and had a Cod special. Melted in your mouth. The Salmon was also so perfectly cooked for our Sister. She ate all of it! So did our BIL. My husband had the lamb chops. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. I was the only one to have Pasta. My favorite dish was on the menu, Sicilian dish of eggplant with pasta. I couldn’t eat all of it and am having it tonight. Leftovers are the best. We will be back!

I am a local and made a reservation to host some guests from out of town. I’ve dined in Mezza Luna often and always had great tables and great service and great food. This time I have to say I was a bit disappointed. There were four of us and we got seated to a table that was best suited for two people . When our appetizers arrived, all our dishes had to be rearranged to accommodate two extra plates. If we hadn’t finished the appetizers, there would’ve been no room for our main courses. It seemed ridiculous since there were so many empty tables. There seemed no reason we couldn’t have had a table that accommodated us better. Also, I ordered a drink that was simply a straight shot of liquor delivered to me in a martini glass. It was not the variety of liquor that I ordered, but too strange to return it. The waiter was very pleasant. The food was excellent and the waitstaff was very attentive. So the overall experience was OK but certainly not the best I’ve experienced at your restaurant. We will see you next time and hope for a more traditional experience

Mezza Luna never disappoints. Food quality has always been on point and tonight did not disappoint. Wonderful Ceasar salad and the veal piccata was amazing as usual. I highly recommend Mezza Luna.

I got engaged here! We were the last reservation as my now fiancé flew into town late to avoid the HMB traffic. The staff were super accommodating and helpful behind the scenes and unbeknownst to me with capturing the whole experience on video. Thank you immensely. Food and atmosphere was classic Italian cuisine with the right amount of romantic vibes (the gnocchi and wine choices were my favorites).

It was my mother-in-law's 103 birthday dinner. We started with cocktails. Two of us ordered the seafood pasta and it was very good. My mother in law had the sand dabs. She thought they were a little mushy. She was looking for petrale but the next best thing were the sand dabs. We also had the salmon pasta and lasagna, which were also very good. Our server was very good and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. He and the other waiters brought a lemon sorbet with a candle and sang "happy birthday". It was a lovely evening and we will return.
