Excellent food, great service, great atmosphere! We had a wonderful evening! The noise level made it very difficult to carry on a conversation.

I decided to eat at Mezquite during a conference trip and I was not disappointed! The restaurant is loud but it’s very lively inside the Pullman Market; I didn’t mind the noise level personally but I know that can a distraction for others. I recommend if you’re sensitive to the noise maybe try a different evening as I did go on a Friday night so it was hoppin :) My friend and I had the chuleta asada (pork) and the carne asada entree. The meats were cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. We loved the tortillas and the elotes as well. I don’t usually have steak but sometimes on a trip or vacation I’ll get something out of my ordinary, so the carne asada was really a treat. Overall it was a great dining experience!

The quality and amount of food did not fit the price. Chips tasted like oil, and tortillas were not cooked all the way

Our server was less than attentive. She did have a couple large parties, but with that, we felt like there was no effort made to try and talk to us, give recommendations, even check on us after we got our food! Food tasted fine but was very greasy… my husband was up all night sick as well as the following day - I think there was something cross contaminated with his tacos. Very disappointing

The food was great and everything was well seasoned. The drinks were decent but the service was lacking. Our server didn’t come to our table till about 20 minutes after we sat down. The host is who took our drink and app order cause the server was not around.

Tried this place for the first time and it was very good! Had chili relleno, which is a huge plate, and my friend had pork tacos. The salsa and chips seem to be made in house...so yummy. Great cocktails too!

Place is very nice. We were seated promptly and service was engaging. Food could’ve been better. Similar flavor profiles in salsas. Aguachirles needed some maturation and spice wasn’t controlled. Restaurant a little noisy depending on where you’re seated. Good but not exceptional although it’s worth another visit.
