We are a small family-run award winning restaurant serving traditional Greek/Cypriot food. If you're looking for the taste and feel of Greece in the UK, here we are!!

Using Great quality imported supplies from Greece and the freshest local natural ingredients.

                                                            We’ve been here before for an evening meal which was good. This time we went for lunch. The waitress suggested the brunch menu which we went for, having a Greek breakfast and a Greek sausage and halloumi ciabatta with chips. We were quite underwhelmed with what we got. There were no condiments on our table and no sauces were offered. The ciabatta was very heavy and oily and the chips too chunky for my taste. Although fresh, the salad garnish comprised of just sliced cucumber and tomato and was very plain and insufficient to balance out the rest of the stodge. The Greek sausage and halloumi were tasty but all in all a bit heavy. My wife found the bacon in her breakfast chewy, dry and hard to cut. Maybe that’s the Greek style? The tiny Greek coffee I had, was so strong it nearly took the roof off my mouth. Again maybe that’s the Greek way but definitely not to my liking. We liked the rustic Mediterranean ambiance no doubt a cost effective way of repurposing an old slightly worn pub. A pity the weather wasn’t better to get the full effect. We also found that, although atmospheric, the Greek music was a little intrusively loud, particularly considering the restaurant was empty apart from us. The waitress although, friendly and attentive was just a little awkward. The brunch was definitely something, heavy, greasy and best avoided but we would like to come again for another evening meal to try some different options before forming a definitive opinion of The Meze

                                                            We have been here several times and e we’re disappointed with some of the members of the team who had no charisma when talking to the customers. Food was amazing

                                                            Only 2 servers but excellent and professional service. Couldn’t be more helpful. Would have been nice to have Greek music playing in background rather than modern pop .

                                                            Absolutely excellent.. highly recommended. Beautiful traditional Greek food, in a lovely quaint setting with excellent and swift service. Hot, sumptuous food with generous portions.. thank you! We will be back and I’ve recommended to friend already :)
