L'établissement Zeal est un nouveau restaurant dans la zone Woodfield-Schaumburg qui sert un superbe mélange de plats italiens, de steaks, de côtelettes, de tapas et de fruits de mer. La cuisine maison utilise des produits frais et de qualité. Découvrez le chef Vince et sa façon unique de cuisiner. Le chef Vince Pecora sert de la bonne nourriture depuis 1990, pour des mariages, des fêtes privées, des événements d'entreprise et même pour le président des États-Unis et l'Air Force One. Food was delicious and one of our guests is gluten free so she found some good selections. We loved the furnishings! The bar is large and very inviting. We will return.

I’d wanted to try this restaurant for years, but as a disabled person I didn’t have anyone to take me. Happily, my niece visited me from out of state recently, and she was willing to drive me and push my wheelchair. When selecting where in my area to dine on a Friday night, Meze Mediterraneo appealed to her, too— not only because of the varied menu of dishes representing that region of the world (with an emphasis on Greece), but also because of the good number of flavorful-sounding non-meat options. Neither of us could have been more delighted with our respective experiences. The food (all of which was served in fairly large portions for the money we spent) was outstanding, the service was perfectly balanced and well-performed, and the noise level was quiet enough for us to hear each other easily. We dined indoors, but when I’m fortunate enough to return to this restaurant, I hope the weather is nice enough to enjoy eating in the beautiful outdoor patio.

Wonderful experience. Food was great. Waiter very friendly. We ordered the 3 kabobs and the chicken and pork rocked. The steak was average. But over all a great experience!

We usually love this place and have a great time. Our server was very cut and dry and threw food dishes on our table like we were at a cafeteria. Not offered dessert. The marinated lamb we normally get was dry. We love this place and we’ll go back simply because of past experiences, but hopefully this isn’t the downturn of this restaurant.

Love this place, unfortunately I don't get to go often because although they have 2 outdoor areas they don't allow you to bring your dog like other restaurants like biaggi does. I would be there weekly if they had an outdoor area that I could enjoy dinner and bring my puppy

Food was good. Service slow - our waiter seemed inattentive. Twice we had to flag someone else down when we needed something. The restaurant was not that busy.

We ordered appetizers of the grilled octopus and saganaki. The octopus was tough and a little greasy. It came with tomatoes, olives, capers, cabbage and two small potato wedges which was tasty but needed some bread to eat with it. No bread came with the saganaki. The waiter didn’t come by for awhile so by the time we asked for and got the bread we were almost done with the saganaki. It was a Sunday at 5:00 so not that busy. I had noted in the reservation that it was my husband’s birthday, but no mention of it was made.

Overall we liked this place, but felt it was kind of pricy for the portion we got for dinner. The dessert portions, on the other hand, are huge. Enough to share so we took a lot of dessert home which never happens. Also, the Greek fries are not homemade. They are seasoned fries with some feta thrown on them. Not what was expected from a place like this. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere was nice.
