This was our third time coming to Mezcaluna in the last year or so. Our first visit we thought the food and drinks were very good. Second time we came with friends and thought it was pretty okay. This time …. a disappointment. We had Mexican Egg Rolls each time. It seems the quality decreases with each visit. Last night there was hardly anything inside the eggrolls. We also had fish tacos which were very difficult to eat due how spicy they were (we love spicy, but this was extreme and from our recall - the degree wasn’t indicated on the menu.). The fish was also very fishy. It was a very uncomfortable eating experience. The fresh squeezed margaritas tasted very tinny as though some part of this was stored in metal. There are quite a few excellent Mexican restaurants around with great food at better prices. Mezcaluna’s adjacency to the mall makes it a good place to stop at while shopping for some but definitely not a destination restaurant in our opinion.

We went to Mezcaluna for my birthday. Our server was great and s made my birthday feel special.

The Baja style tacos were very good and the guacamole made tableside was excellent

Food was quite good, and service was great. However, the noise level was so high we could barely hear each other at our table. This was partly due to a very large and boisterous group of birthday celebrants, but even after that group left, it was still quite loud.

We love this place and the food is amazing! Sadly last night we were stuck in a back corner and it took over 20 minutes to get water and place our order. We had do grab a server not working our table to get attention. Once we got her attention, she took great care of us. Our "assigned server" came by to become buddies with us when it was time to pay/tip! HAHA! We got a good laugh out of that! Next time we will check with the hostess to make sure that we have a server assigned to our table.

Waitress & management were kind and accommodating. The food was fresh & delicious. Will definitely go again.

This was my first time to this restaurant. I was taking two young nieces as a treat as it's one of their families favorite restaurant. Everything was great, but......when you have a table of twelve right in front of us, they should have gotten another server for the four of us. We waited a while until someone even approached us with menus. Then water. During the meal my mouth was on fire but no water refill. The server we had was excellent but had his hands full. My annoyance was with staff that should have balanced our servers work load. As for the restaurant, the ambiance was very lively which I enjoyed and the food was excellent.

Everything 5 family members had was delicious. Fajitas several kinds, mole enchiladas, crab enchiladas, shrimp nachos. Servers are very kind and helpful. Even the beans and rice was exceptional. They also make their own tortillas.
