Next best thing to being in Turkiye!! Amazing taste and quality of everything we order, and bread to die for!! Alas. Thank you Meyhouse for always making our evening extra special.

The host was very accommodating for our request. We love the ambiance and service. Food is average. We would recommend to our friends.

The food was wonderful and the service was very attentive. It was a little challenging to hold a conversation at our table as the restaurant filled up.

This is a perfect place if you want to excite your mediterranean palate: all dishes are freshly made - ask for their daily special - bread is right out of the oven, flavors are well-balanced - nothing is too spicy or too salty or too meh, just perfect. Their appetizer selection alone is pretty remarkable and picking a few items from that menu might be enough to fill you. Main dishes are fantastic and plentiful, we always leave with a doggie bag. I am a vegetarian, and their lentil/egg plant dishes are creative and just full of flavor. We have been to Meyhouse/Palo Alto a few times and their service is just amazing. You will be waited on like in a Sultan's Palace - 5 stars for the most important parts of the restaurant visit. Just 4 stars for ambience, since it is a huge dining room, modern decor, and it is usually busy, hence the noise level tends to be high.

The food was great! The service was even better! However, I would think that in a world that's moving towards eliminating alcohol, that they would serve at least one kind of non-alcoholic beer! From Seventh & Dolores to Miller & Lux, after all, we know that sometimes it is the drink that completes the meal.

Excellent Excellent! food. Truly delicious. Noisy enough that conversation was a little difficult -- drum-heavy music played too loud. But otherwise, fantastic. It's very much like Greek food, but with spices like paprika and cumin. No pork. I had lovely lamb chops and a starter of octopus which was perfectly cooked with a nice punch of spice.

Service was incredibly slow - it took well over an hour for the food to arrive after we sat down and the fish was wildly overcooked - tasted as if it had spent 25 minutes sitting under heat lamps, which makes sense since it arrived over 20 minutes after the server promised it would be there in "2 minutes". On the plus side, the bread was good.
