It was for my birthday and we were seated immediately outside which was nice. We sat there for a really long time before we were greeted to get our drink order. I believe something was going on outside and they were setting up for an event.. we looked around and the table next to us was also waiting but they already had their food but their drinks were empty. We took that as a sign that we probably wasn’t going to get the best service. Really pretty place but it wasn’t busy enough for anyone to be waiting our server seemed nice and maybe didn’t know he had a new table but for us to be waiting as long as we did and people around us waiting on service is crazy.

Absolutely one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have enjoyed. Definitely going back!

Steak was raw, server didn’t even seem like he wanted to be there, over priced for poor food and service

We came for lunch for my friend's birthday. First off, the space is beautiful. I wanted to give a shout out to Sarah and Manuel for taking such great care of us. Sarah had put in our order for queso for an appetizer and it arrived before she even finished taking the rest of our order, haha that was so cool and quite the first impression! But Sarah also refilled my water right as I noticed it was getting low before I even had the chance to ask her and she just overall did such a terrific job, she definitely has a gift of hospitality. Next, I went to the bathroom and one of the Staff was also waiting for the bathroom and she let me go ahead of her. I thought that was so nice! I also LOVE the interior design of the whole restaurant -- it's a beautiful spot and even the water glasses are beautiful, such a small but nice touch. Pro tip -- be sure to park in the garage in the building and bring in your ticket into the restaurant and they will validate your parking ticket before you leave, for up to 3 hours. Thanks to the Mexican Sugar team for making my friend's birthday so special! Also to confirm, this review is about Sarah who has short hair and some amazing tattoos. :) Thanks for taking such great care of us on Sunday afternoon!

The ambience was beautiful. Excellent view of downtown uptown area. The food was very good, but the serving size was a bit small

Inattentive staff. I sat for ten minutes with no acknowledgement and the restaurant was not busy. There were long lapses in service. I had an empty glass for ten minutes. $10 parking.

I have been to the Irving Las Colinas location a couple of times prior and always had great experiences at that location. This was my first time at the Uptown Dallas location and we were very disappointed. We were a table of 4 celebrating our friend’s 30th birthday over dinner. Our main complaint was our server/service. Our rsvp was for 9:15pm and we were sat at a table a few mins after checking in. After we were sat, another group of 4 were sat next to us, but they had a different server. That table had their drinks out before us, had their food out before us and EVEN finished their food before we even received our food. When our food started to come out, they brought two out of the four meals first. The birthday girl’s plate and then a plate of fish tacos that none of us ordered ??? The fish tacos were returned and the correct plate #2 came out. Our server approached us asking us what was missing and we told him it was my plate and the 4th friend’s plate. That being said, none of us got our plates at the same time so we were unable to eat all together enjoyably. I do understand it was a Saturday night and weekends can get busy, but our server didn’t even check on us once to ask if we wanted a refill on our waters or another drink (as we had ordered margaritas) etc. We might give this location another try in the future in hopes of a better experience. Mind you we were sat at around 9:20pm and we didn’t start receiving our food until about 10:30pm.

Andrea was AMAZING at making me feel special with my friends who were celebrating my birthday! I would highly recommend a night out with your friends at STK! The drinks were delicious and so was the Happy Birthday cheesecake! 😍

It’s a 20 minutes after my reservations to get my table set up outside. they placed me outside completely in the Sun while there is other seating on the other side. Although they accommodated me and took an extremely long time for a waiter to come and take our order. I believe they are extremely understaffed.
