The ambience was beautiful. Excellent view of downtown uptown area. The food was very good, but the serving size was a bit small

Inattentive staff. I sat for ten minutes with no acknowledgement and the restaurant was not busy. There were long lapses in service. I had an empty glass for ten minutes. $10 parking.

I have been to the Irving Las Colinas location a couple of times prior and always had great experiences at that location. This was my first time at the Uptown Dallas location and we were very disappointed. We were a table of 4 celebrating our friend’s 30th birthday over dinner. Our main complaint was our server/service. Our rsvp was for 9:15pm and we were sat at a table a few mins after checking in. After we were sat, another group of 4 were sat next to us, but they had a different server. That table had their drinks out before us, had their food out before us and EVEN finished their food before we even received our food. When our food started to come out, they brought two out of the four meals first. The birthday girl’s plate and then a plate of fish tacos that none of us ordered ??? The fish tacos were returned and the correct plate #2 came out. Our server approached us asking us what was missing and we told him it was my plate and the 4th friend’s plate. That being said, none of us got our plates at the same time so we were unable to eat all together enjoyably. I do understand it was a Saturday night and weekends can get busy, but our server didn’t even check on us once to ask if we wanted a refill on our waters or another drink (as we had ordered margaritas) etc. We might give this location another try in the future in hopes of a better experience. Mind you we were sat at around 9:20pm and we didn’t start receiving our food until about 10:30pm.

Andrea was AMAZING at making me feel special with my friends who were celebrating my birthday! I would highly recommend a night out with your friends at STK! The drinks were delicious and so was the Happy Birthday cheesecake! 😍

It’s a 20 minutes after my reservations to get my table set up outside. they placed me outside completely in the Sun while there is other seating on the other side. Although they accommodated me and took an extremely long time for a waiter to come and take our order. I believe they are extremely understaffed.

Ambiance and outdoor experience was beautiful, but food was on average. The prices were not outrageous but the service was a bit off. Overall, I will return, just maybe another location.

Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed dining at Mexican Spice. The majority of our party had flown in from out of town and we are so grateful to have found this restaurant that was only a short walk from our hotel. The ambience was beautiful, every item of food was delicious and wonderful, and we could not have asked for better 5-star service than what was provided by Jose and Mario / thank you both so much for providing exceptional service during our special dinner with our mom.
