We were super happy to find Mexcal. I was in desperate need for some fresh guac and a spicy margarita and Mexcal delivered. I wish the guac portion was a little larger. I’d consider ordering two. I had the el pastor tacos which were good. I also indulged in the sweet plantains and a side order of rice and beans which were really good. We are definitely coming back. The vibe is super cute and the service was very attentive and friendly. Thank you!

This place was the perfect local for my brides maid proposal. Daniel and Maria accommodated my group by making sure we had the perfect surprise and coordinated bringing out my bridesmaid boxes so it was a surprise for my girlfriends. They offered me free lights and a club sign with anything I wanted written on it For FREE and gave us a round of free mixed shots to congratulate me on vetting married. I will definitely be back!

Well you allowed us to make a reservation on open table only to drive all the way to your restaurant and it was closed (Monday). Not good business.

We started with octopus, my fav wherever I go, and it was tender and had a slightly crunchy top, which was very good; it had a nice salad on the side. We went on to order the Birria tacos which were the best I’ve tasted - with tender meat and melted cheese in the bottom and the sauce was perfectly balanced in flavor. Then came the ceviche and another order of octopus and an order of the street corn. We kept ordering because the food was that good. The atmosphere was city-like and the carnita cocktail was delicious and potent. Had a lovely evening

Our server was friendly and attentive. The decor was well thought out. The serving of the chips were sparse, especially for what they charge for them. The salsas were not very flavorful and I wish that they had more heat. The cocktails were great.

So this is my 2nd time @ the restaurant. & they have sooooo much potential but the drinks and the service sucks. I think the service sucks because even for a party of 2 or 3 ( it was a party of 2 the first time I went) they automatically include 20% tip in your bill so the servers don’t really have to “work” for their tip bc it’s included in your bill already.
I had a mimosa today at brunch and it was watery, it had ice and the champagne was flat like it was days old. There was only us and 2 other tables in the restaurant and it took 20 minutes for a mimosa .. lol & I switched to the lychee martini and the it also sucked. Way too sweet and it was thick because of the purée. The first time I went I had a marg and it was the same thing, thick because they od on the purée mix.
This place really has so much potential & the employees are very nice, it’s a nice little vibe inside but unless they get it together they won’t last.
