Beautiful roof top with a great vibe. Our server wasn’t on the ball today. She forgot a few things so had to ask another server to get them. The kitchen had cooked the poached eggs solid. You could tell just by looking. Once everything was corrected, the food was delicious and enjoyed this restaurant very much.

We had a 4:45 PM reservation, yesterday/Saturday and although we were seated right away, it went downhill pretty fast. Our server greeted us. Took forever to come back to the table with our bar drinks and to take our food order. Come to find out, she was also behind the bar, making drinks for other guests. There were several other servers and managers on the floor and we could not make eye contact with any of them. We both sat there with empty glasses, and I finally went up to the bar and ordered a beverage. We had to basically bus our table and waited forever to have our plates removed and then had to ask twice for our check. When we told you appeared to be a manager or a hostess that our food server disappeared and we would like our check she made no excuses and then just dropped the check without a word. We had to have another food server run our credit card and drop that back off to us. I am a food server and I never leave less than 25%. Sad to say, I left 10% and we will not be returning. On the way out, we passed our food server/bartender and several other staff and there was no word as far as thank you for coming or have a good evening. It’s very unfortunate because, it’s a nice location and a rooftop restaurant. We were also not thrilled about having to pay for a valet to have our car parked. We’ll stick to Portland City Grill and other restaurants. We had a 4:45 PM reservation and although we were seated right away, it went downhill pretty fast. Not the way we wanted to spend our anniversary.

perfect for a date night or night out. the view is absolutely beautiful at night and everyone is in their own world so you don’t have to worry about people, plenty of space as well. The food is amazing! we ordered a burger and a paluni pizza, they were absolutely delicious. the guava tart dessert is also so good! the valet workers were very respectful and kind. the servers are absolutely amazing, fast, and respectful. always came with the water and made sure we were okay. the price of the food is also very reasonable. i don’t usually eat out in Portland but this restaurant is amazing. definitely one of my favorite experiences at a restaurant.

Staying at the Hyatt downtown at Convention Center? Walk across the street before 6 pm for happy hour dining. Delish pizza, sliders, salads, shredded pork tacos, & cocktails with a view from the Met rooftop at reduced prices before 6 pm. Your tummy & your wallet will thank you!

We had a great meal and our server was excellent. The food was a great price and came hot and fast. Drinks were great.

Everything was great but the salad was brown in lots of spots. Really wanted a salad that day too. The waiter was great about it though.

Good ambiance and the view was alright. Made reservations for 6 for a special occasion at the terrace on Open Table but when we arrive, they told us they do not take reservations for outside seating. It’s a first come, first serve basis. Along with that, they told us their system was down and that they only take cash. There’s an ATM at the lobby but only accepts certain banks/credit union debit cards, which didn’t include my bank. So, we had to walk to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash. They should start communicating with customers who made reservations on Open Table or call customers in advance about this type of situations so that there’s no complications on both sides. The food, drinks, and service were great! Overall, would go back but I would call beforehand regarding reservations at the terrace and if they currently accept credit card payments.

Thank you for the feedback Marylaine. I am glad the food, drinks & service were on point. I apologize for the inconvenience of having to go to the ATM. Unfortunately we had an internet outage which prevented us from taking credit cards for a couple of hours. Ideally we would notify people in advance of this, but as it happened unexpectedly in the moment there just wasn't time to react to that & call everyone in a timely manner. Fortunately the problem is fixed & that is extremely rare to have an outage like that so that should not be an issue going forward. It is our policy that patio seating is first come, first serve. I would still encourage you to make a reservation and put patio seating as a request & we will do our best to accommodate. Sincerely, Jason Dondero General Manager
