We will be featuring items such as caviar, lobster roll, beet salad, "Good Luck Soup", Prime rib. All reservation will require a credit card in order to hold for special holiday service. There will not be a charge to this card.     My son and I decided to skip the festival of lights crowd and treat ourselves to dinner. The waitress was very accommodating of my sons food allergy. She refilled our water and made us smile. The food recommendations were spot on.

    Everything was outstanding however the temperature of the restaurant was a bit warm. We probably would have stayed a bit longer but it was hot.

    Our dining experience at Metrople this past Sat was a delightful blend of comfort and creativity. We started with the roasted beet salad, a perfect balance of earthy beets, quark and apricot. We opted for the bread which was grilled and not one of my favs (note they do charge for replenishing). On to my short rib with mashed potatoes which was tender and rich, with a mild sauce that could've used a bit more punch. The hubs had the market fish (trout) served atop grilled grits, elevated by a silky carrot beurre blanc that added a subtle sweetness and elegance to the dish. We split the roasted cauliflower which was surprisingly a highlight of our meal. For dessert, we opted to share their vanilla ice cream which was smooth and creamy. The sweet potato pound cake, originally served cold (who eats cold cake?!) but once I sent back to request it be heated, stole the show with its moist texture and warm, spiced flavor. The attentive service and cozy yet refined atmosphere rounded out an enjoyable evening. Metropole is a must-visit for those who appreciate elevated comfort food with a creative edge. Make sure to check out the art at the attached 21C Museum Hotel before leaving.

    After visiting the 21C exhibit (terrific!), we stopped for brunch on a Saturday. Fabulous food--interesting menu, well-prepared, and hot--which made for a lovely experience. Especially recommend the crab cake benedict! Lovely staff as well.

    I absolutely love Metropole! The ambiance is fantastic, and dining alongside a penguin adds such a unique charm. The food was excellent, with a menu featuring delicious seasonal options. The service, while decent, could use a little improvement.

    My first visit to the restaurant. The restaurant was full but service was impeccable and very timely! So sheoshito appetizer was to die for! Cod was perfectly done. Waitress ,Mary, Was very welcoming and professional.. Is this place can do a great job on Christmas Eve I'm sure every other day is as good or better !will be returning!?

    Food was excellent even though offerings being limited due to we were there on Christmas Eve. Pricing was higher than it probably should have been. Disappointed there were not any holiday decorations in the restaurant- went there thinking we would get a great holiday ambiance.

    This place has amazing food. We had friends in from Chicago for my husbands birthday and I choose this restaurant. Everyone loved every dish we tried. David, our waiter recommended many of the dishes and they were all so good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
