Meteora's gastronomy is a 1-star Michelin contemporary and creative showcase of exceptional California ingredients. Chef Jordan Kahn (Vespertine, Destroyer) and the team work exclusively with aligned farmers, foragers, fishermen, and ranchers to bring guests the ultimate dining experience.

Fire cooking, innovation, and seasonality blend for an elegant tasting menu or indulgent small plates in the bar. The holistic approach extends to every facet of the restaurant including beverage, hospitality, and design.

Groups of 6-12 are welcome to book one of our private dining areas for a food and beverage minimum. See individual experiences for applicable pricing for our selenite Chef's Table and Private Dining Room. Service fees and taxes not included.

    It was too hot to enjoy the food but the fish wrapped in banana life was stellar otherwise the other items were unique, creative but not always tasty

    Mediocre place at best. Surprisingly subpar food and service for a Michelin star restaurant. No desire to eat at Vespertine now after such experience.

    the 7 course tasting menu was fantastic for the price, service and ambiance were top notch. The burnt yam with tuna roe and papaya is the best dish I've ever eaten. Highly recommend.

    Outstanding concept and unique experience commensurate with their newly appointed Michelin Star! We had the 7-Course Menu with the Supplemental Rib eye which was outstanding. I appreciated the Ribeye vs a Wagyu offering. Favorite dishes were the Grilled Job's tears, Burnt Murasaki Yam and Sweet Corn Ice Cream. Also added wine paring which was quite delicious!

    This was truly an amazing place. From the moment you enter the astonishing front door then lead to comfortable seating, you are in awe with the flourishing plant life. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Our 4-course pairing was exceptional. Definitely looking forward to returning and bringing our friends.

    Three of us went to Meteora to celebrate my friend's milestone birthday, and the experience--and I do mean experience--exceeded our expectations. We each chose the four-course option where every dish was flavorful, dynamic, and unique. The birthday guest chose the wine pairing, and I had the hybrid pairing of wines, beers, and juices. Our other friend decided to drink sparkling water because they were hopping on a red-eye flight. But even the sparkling water was top tier. Run don't walk to Meteora. You won't regret it!

    I actually dined here when they first opened out of sheer curiosity after driving by their unique facade that could be seen on Melrose. Well two years later (and a Michelin star), I have returned and while I do reminisce sometimes about that first dinner, this one was just as special. Our previous experience was quite restrained and understated, but this time it felt more welcoming, mostly due to our amazing server (although I don’t recall her name, sorry). She and the manager had an amazing vibe and such great energy. They switched the menu to a tasting menu (prix fixe if you’re fancy) and we opted for the 7-course which had some really notable dishes. I had an allergy substitution for the first course after the amuse bouche and instead of fish they subbed it for one of the best avocados I’ve ever had in my life. It was smoky and tasted char-grilled, but the entire dish together was giving ceviche vibes. But the presentation with the asin-tibuok and the expertise on the history and source of it? 10/10. All the other dishes were also amazing with a story behind the ingredients. I am left dreaming about the third course yam dish because it was reminiscent of my favorite soup to order at Olive Garden, but more elevated and special of course. The pairings are also recommended because they elevate the meal. Also, order the flatbread. It’s not on the menu, but so fresh and delicious!
