Meteora's gastronomy is a 1-star Michelin contemporary and creative showcase of exceptional California ingredients. Chef Jordan Kahn (Vespertine, Destroyer) and the team work exclusively with aligned farmers, foragers, fishermen, and ranchers to bring guests the ultimate dining experience.

Fire cooking, innovation, and seasonality blend for an elegant tasting menu or indulgent small plates in the bar. The holistic approach extends to every facet of the restaurant including beverage, hospitality, and design.

Groups of 6-12 are welcome to book one of our private dining areas for a food and beverage minimum. See individual experiences for applicable pricing for our selenite Chef's Table and Private Dining Room. Service fees and taxes not included.

We invite you to join us for an exclusive dining experience on our ancient Selenite Table where your guests will be free to make a few select choices on the evening's four course tasting menu. The menu begins at $125.00 per person plus service fee and tax. Additional beverages, cocktails, and bottles of wine can be purchased a la carte. We are happy to accommodate most major allergies, vegetarian options are always available. Cancellations less than one day in advance of reservation date will result in a fee of $25 per person.
Private Dining Room I 8-12 Guests

Weekday Tasting Menu | Indoor Dining

A contemporary dining experience that showcases exceptional ingredients of the season with live-fire cooking, innovative technique, and artful plating. Choose between a 4 course tasting menu for $95 per person or a 7 course tasting menu for $150 per person. Full party participation is required. Additional supplements, beverage pairings, wine, and cocktails are available. This reservation is for a table in our Indoor Dining Room. Cancellations less than one day in advance of reservation date will result in a fee of $25 per person.

Everything was excellent the only complaint was the wine and the wine selection. Need to improve on that or drastically lower the corkage fee of $75.00

One of the best fine dining meals we've had. Every course was a banger, wine pairing was quite nice, service was great, and the space is gorgeous. Loved our dinner.

A unique experience to the flagship Vespertine, we had a wonderful evening where each criteria of a conventional fine dining experience was impeccably addressed, but with the addition of artistry and creativity of menu signature to V. Knowledgeable, accessible, and friendly staff accentuated a complete, satisfying meal. Thanks!

I had high expectations for Meteora based on the glowing reviews I’ve heard, and I was excited to experience it for myself. We chose to dine here on New Year’s Eve, and while the restaurant’s interior design was stunning and certainly lived up to its reputation, our overall experience was mixed. When booking our reservation, I wasn’t aware of the distinction between the Main Dining area and the Indoor Dining space. After our visit, I would recommend reserving a table in the Main Dining area for a more refined and cohesive ambiance. The Indoor Dining area is located adjacent to the bar, which creates a more casual and lively atmosphere, less formal than the Main Dining space. That said, the servers were warm and approachable, offering a refreshingly relaxed demeanor compared to the rigid formality often associated with high-end dining establishments. Unfortunately, the food did not meet the high standards I anticipated. While the dry-aged duck and yam dishes were exceptional, the majority of the courses left me underwhelmed. At this price point, every dish should be flawless, and sadly, that was not our experience. It’s disappointing to feel that the meal did not justify the cost, and I cannot see myself returning with the risk of being unsatisfied again. While I wanted to give Meteora the benefit of the doubt, I have to accept that this visit fell short of expectations. It’s unfortunate, as the potential for a truly outstanding experience is clearly there, but for us, it did not materialize.

Such an exotic restaurant in the heart of LA. Tulum vibes all the way. I had an amazing experience. The food is incredibly delicious, making it a must-visit for any food enthusiast. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted and bursting with flavor. On New Year's Eve, the bartender went above and beyond, sharing fascinating backstories about each drink we ordered. A huge shoutout to the chef for creating such a flawless menu. It's clear that passion drives their work, and that truly elevates the entire experience!

This had to be one of the great meals of the year. No, scratch that; it rates up there with "of all time." Inventive, well-proportioned, excellent pairings with juices, beer, and wine, incredibly balanced, astounding flavors, and did I mention inventive? Yes, we were there on New Year's Eve and somewhat in control of this, but a little too fast-paced for our liking. However, we were eager and anticipating the next course.

We had such a great experience celebrating my husband’s birthday. The food was amazing and the service was even better. We will be dreaming about the burnt murasaki yam dish!
