Paellas

Originating in its modern form in the mid-19th century near Lake Albufera, a lagoon in Valencia, on the east coast of Spain, Paella quickly became an iconic dish of Valencia and Spain in turn. According to tradition in Valencia, paella is cooked by men over an open fire, fueled by orange and pine branches along with pine cones. This produces an aromatic smoke which infuses the paella. Additionally, dinner guests traditionally eat directly out of the paellera. I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant: excellent food and wonderful service. The staff is so gracious, always accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. From Daniela, the Manager, Anna, the Hostess, and servers Jordan and Nancy, they all make your feel welcome and special. The food is consistently delicious and beautifully presented. Meson is a gem of a location.

Huge selection of small plates. We had about 8 and all were very good. Our server was very helpful. She marked her favorites on the menu which made the long list of small plates easier to navigate.

Enjoyable night out and no cook dinner. The special salad of the day was great. Grilled squid and skirt steak were wonderful. Excellent service. Was a bit chilly in the restaurant.

Before you even walk in the grounds are exceptionally manicured and well taken care of. The food was out of this world, the taste were incredible.
