Paellas

Originating in its modern form in the mid-19th century near Lake Albufera, a lagoon in Valencia, on the east coast of Spain, Paella quickly became an iconic dish of Valencia and Spain in turn. According to tradition in Valencia, paella is cooked by men over an open fire, fueled by orange and pine branches along with pine cones. This produces an aromatic smoke which infuses the paella. Additionally, dinner guests traditionally eat directly out of the paellera. Just phenomenal place. Went for dinner and was greeted warmly, got a drink at the bar since we arrived early. Bartenders are very helpful and mixed great old fashions. Dinner time greeted us with our waiter Max who provided top notch service. Food was delicious and quick and was plated well. Dessert was also tasty and delicious. Overall, great experience for our date night.

We always enjoy our afternoon experience there. This time i had the whitefish which was the best. Tapas are always good, especially the bacon wrapped dates.

Very nice ambiance and outstanding staff. Our wait staff made several recommendations and were spot on. The food was outstanding and their wine selection is excellent.

We had a perfectly wonderful experience dining on the patio. It is so beautiful and one of my favorite places to eat outdoors. We enjoyed everything from the Sangria to all the tapas. I loved the tiger shrimp with the trio of sauces and the bacon wrapped dates is one of my favorite tapas. We will definitely be back.

Here is what makes this place incredible : Consistency. We’ve been going for the last 10+ years and every time the food is always delicious and does not disappoint. Hands down the best tapas in the burbs…as well as the best patio!

Perfect day to eat out on the patio. Did hot tapas only & all were great except the chicken skewer with cumin mayo. Bacon wrapped dates, goat cheese in tomato basil sauce, grilled tiger shrimp in garlic lemon butter & grilled lamb chops in wine sauce with potatoes - all wonderful. So was shared dessert of profiteroles with vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce. Our server was busy but always there when we needed him.

We had such a wonderful afternoon at Meson Sabika. Great table by the fountain on a perfect sunny day. Excellent service from Alex. Exceptional food choices of delicious tapas with a lovely white wine. It could not have been better!! Can’t wait to return and enjoy this amazing spot once again!

Wonderful as always! The food is delicious. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. To top it off we had Perfect weather for sitting outside.

Dined on the beautiful patio. Starters had the bacon wrapped dates and goat cheese with garlic toast. Our meal was fantastic from the Paella to the lamb chops and beef tenderloin medallions. Finished with the almond and pear pound cake and chocolate terrine. We honestly thought it was one of the best meals we ever had!!
