Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere.
We have an outside terrace with heaters and umbrellas but of course, we can't promise the weather! If you book outside we can't guarantee a table inside if the weather changes.
For those unable to eat-in, we offer our famous Paellas for takeaway at lunchtime Monday-Friday.
Thank you for all your support and we look forward to welcoming you soon to this little bit of Spain in Waterloo.

Enjoyed great tapas in Meson Don Felipe, we hadn't been for some years and were delighted that the restaurant is just as good as ever. Every dish fresh, full of flavour and authentic, add a good wine list as reasonable prices and it all makes for a great experience. Muchas gracias

This was a special dinner for a Japanese architect and other people I have worked with. Everyone loved the atmosphere, food and wine. Thank you so much. I will definitely bring more friends to your wonderful restaurant.

Great atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. It had been many years since first visiting this hidden treasure and hope to return sooner next time. Booking is essential.

Honestly I have no words! The food, the flavour and the quality are outstanding!! Been there a few times. This time around I tried some dishes for the first time and my mind was blown away. Couldn't recommend more!

Meson Don Felipe was excellent, as ever - we have eaten there many times. Our visitors from Spain were impressed and will also return. Service was quick - as necessary for a pre-theatre meal - and food was tasty. The wine too. It was a little noisy, which meant we didn't get exactly one dish we'd ordered, as the server had misheard my attempt at Spanish, but that was fine. Definitely our favourite place to eat in the area, and superbly located for the Old Vic theatre.

The usual fabulous friendly service and one of the Spanish food, wine and sherry selections in London. Booked again for another visit already!
