Mesita, which translates to “small table”, serves authentic, modern, Mexican cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere. The menu features fresh guacamole prepared, mouth-watering Mexican street corn, fire-grilled fajitas, along with burritos, tacos and many other house-made Mexican dishes. Food was delicious! I’ve always visited the Rockville center location when I lived in Long Island. Was expecting the same experience which it sort of did. I loveee this place because they have theeee best red sangria, I thought it was a staple to the restaurant but this location it was a major disappointment. Likely won’t return to this location but for others who care less about that lol… food was good!

Our first time dining at this restaurant. Everything was great and we highly recommend dining here. We will definitely go back.

Great service and very generous portions. I felt it was a bit salty even for mexican food. I will go back.

Mesita never fails to please! And Taco Tuesday, upon which we stumbled by coincidence, offered amazing food at an amazing price.

Great place with a great vibe. Food and drinks were amazing and lots of leftovers. Loved the deals and specials they have. Will go back again.

The first time we were here was Thursday night when we sat at the bar for margaritas and tacos. Great fish taco and beef taco. Sebastian was great. The next time was Saturday night. My husband’s chicken fajitas weren’t hot so he sent them back and they came back sizzling. My assorted tacos were tasty. Salsa that came with chips and salsa was great. We will probably stick with happy hour at the bar because of the specials. And I’m looking forward to it.

I went here for the first time on a Saturday night. The decor was nothing special. The food was tasty but there really wasn’t much of a presentation to it. My main problem with that I specifically requested to have one of the Tacos that were ordered (we were sharing the 3 Taco combo) put on a separate plate, as I am allergic to fish. When the dish came out to the table the shrimp taco was set in the middle of the other two tacos not separately. I told the waiter who then said I told the kitchen twice to keep it separate, that was all I got from him and then he walked away. My impression of this restaurant is that they really aren’t concerned about their customers!
