Finding harmony between authenticity and originality is something that first ignited the flame at Mesa Verde back in 2013 and continues to feed it today. While it’s fairly evident that an affinity for Mexican food and agave spirits is at the helm of what we do, our city’s rank on the culinary frontier has brought with it a particular nose for experimentation.

So, since we’re very literally in the heart of Melbourne up here on the sixth floor of Curtin House, high above the city’s jugular Swanston Street, we feel it’s our responsibility to highlight what Mexican dining (and drinking) looks like in the eyes of the modern Melburnian.

Amazing food. Really loved the Pacific oysters with lone finger sauce. All the food we had was excellent and the service attentive and knowledgeable to explain some of the dishes. Can’t wait for my next visit 😊

Place was a bit hidden for us as tourists, and drinks a bit small, but service and food were good.

Great night for a larger group (11ppl). Service, drinks and food were all great with the added benefit of a rooftop bar just one floor up!

Absolutely delicious tacos. First time here so tried the Tuesday $5 taco (2 must be ordered). Ordered every on and all were different and tasty. Also the chips were amazing! Will come back on a normal night to try the other food. Staff were lovely and attentive.
