Le Chef et propriétaire Peter Merriman a transféré sa version de la cuisine régionale hawaïenne dans la station de Kapalua, une magnifique adresse au bord de l'océan. Il utilise uniquement des produits frais dont 90 % ou plus sont produits ou pêchés localement à l'aide de méthodes durables. Peter a toujours été un précurseur dans le concept de « ferme à la table ». Tous les aliments sont préparés de manière à mettre en valeur leur saveur naturelle. Le personnel est fort sympathique pour vous garantir une expérience culinaire incroyable. Leur connaissance des aliments est sans pareil dans le milieu de la restauration. Le restaurant bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal au cœur de la station, juste au bord de l'eau, là où les plus spectaculaires couchers de soleil peuvent être observés depuis son bar à vins. Join us for New Year's Eve dinner at Merriman's Maui! We are offering a 3 course prix fixe menu at $225 per person. All of our tables offer stunning ocean views. Tables will be seated from front to back, so we recommend booking our 4pm seating if your table location is very important to you. Location requests cannot be guaranteed. We will hold a table for you for 15 minutes past the reservation time. We ask that you limit your experience with us to 2 hours as a courtesy to the people waiting to be seated. If your plans should change, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will incur a $225 no show fee.

The food, service, and views are amazing. We saw a whale once we were seated. The ahi and ono ate fabulous ! Our granddaughter lover her filet mingon. I highly recommend if you are on Maui. Book early as they fill up fast.

The Food is the star at Merrimans Maui- I mistakenly booked a bar table instead of a regular dining table, and that mistake had a huge impact on the overall experience. First, I will say that the dining room is beautiful with open air along the coastline. The bar on the other hand is noisy, busy and without enough fresh air. We basically sat next to the restrooms. The bar is really noisy and the service in that area was not nearly what one would expect when dining in a restaurant that costs over $200 pp. Our server did not offer us the nightly specials, was unfriendly and seemed to not understand food allergies. The food was excellent, however. Our family of 5 ordered most items on the menu- the Ahi poke, pasta, Tarro hummus, beef and bacon sliders, seared ahi, local catch which was grey snapper, macadamia crusted mahi, filet, lamb 2 ways, etc. Every dish had a perfect flavor balance and was expertly prepared. The level of cuisine is on par with any top NYC menu. An automatic 4% surcharge is added for the kitchen staff, which I did not mind at all but adding here to make people aware. We will likely return for dinner in the dining room where the experience will more likely align with a dinner bill over $1,000.

We got there and were going to order a drink while we waited for a table at the bar but the bar was full. The hostess moved us to the patio and we sat at nice table outside and enjoyed the last of the sunset. They called our table, treated us to a glass of champagne for my retirement and then the wonderful food and service started. Carmen took wonderful care of us and kept us felling special the entire night. We split the app, salad and meal - to have more of their great food and it was outstanding. Ask for Carmen and enjoy…..

We always have dinner at Merriman’s when we’re in Maui. Everything is always perfect - from the food to the views to the service! We were celebrating a birthday and they couldn’t have made it more special. Our server Mike was great!

Outstanding food, service and ambience. Could not have been more accommodating when I had reservation snafu for large group that I did not notice until less than 10 days before visit to the island.

We had a great dining experience at Merriman’s! The view is spectacular, the food was amazing and our servers were all so fun and made great recommendations! They also did a special bubbly toast to our daughter for her birthday and brought dessert out on a special birthday plate!

Everything about this place is first class. Server was very attentive and made this anniversary dinner very special. The food was excellent and our view allowed us to enjoy a whale show during our dinner. It's not cheap but worth every penny.

Merriman’s has never let us down. We had meatless entrees and we both ate every bite. B ordered pasta from the Starters/Apps menu and I had a mushroom pot pie special. I struggle finding words to adequately describe the flavors, textures, and beauty of the pot pie. A blend of mushrooms and each flavor stood out. The crust was brilliant; absolutely perfect. The dough was stretched over a cast iron pie plate and it had risen probably 4” over the mushrooms inside. And the pastry was delicious. Honestly, a top 5 dining experience of a lifetime of fine food. But salads, yes. Off of the menu, but perfect. Generous portion of very fresh everything. I had the blue cheese crumbles on mine and B went without dairy. Mango, avocado, tomato, greens dressed with subtle citrus dressing. Perfect.
