We are thrilled to have recommenced dining in, for breakfast & lunch, seven days a week from the 29th of October.
Numbers are very limited & for this reason there are a couple of changes to the way we do things.-
BREAKFAST service daily between 8.30am -10:45am.
LUNCH service daily between 12.00pm -3.30pm.
Bookings will be staggered during these service times.
With inside numbers currently so limited & our weather being so unpredictable, some areas outside will be walk in only & unfortunately some will have no ‘plan B’ for inclement weather.
For a short time, as we progress through the roadmap increments, we kindly ask that all bookings be made over the phone. Please ring our friendly staff to make your booking on 03 5989 8088.
All Covid safe operating procedures are in place & will continue to be updated in line with evolving requirements.

Chin Chin Executive Chef, Benjamin Cooper is hitting the road to host a series of events celebrating the release of the new cook book ‘Still Hungry’. We are delighted that the Merricks Store is part of the series for one night only. The dinner will see Benjamin and our Chefs whipping up a storm of dishes from the new cook book for you to enjoy. Book a table to be amongst the fun. When not in the Kitchen Benjamin will be on hand to sign books and shoot the breeze. Tables bookable from 6pm 4 course dinner - $120 pp Beverages on consumption Strictly limited numbers Signing and sales of books available on night *We can cater for the following dietary requirements with prior notice- gluten free, vegetarian, pescatarian, nut free

Always a wonderful experience! Divine ambience, atmosphere, style, outlook, service and food, fantastic and never disappoints! Jaimie was absolutely delightful and nothing too much trouble. So attentive and just delightful. ☺️

Always good. But service a bit hit and miss, mainly because no dedicated person, hence unsure whose attention to try to get .... and can take a while.

We had an outstanding lunch! The duck was amazing and the brown sugar pavlova with pumpkin sage ice cream was sublime. Together with a great choice of wines, attentive, knowledgeable service and a pleasant ambience we had a very enjoyable visit to Merricks General Store. We'll be back!

Beautiful setting. Like a country kitchen. Incredible hum from surrounding dinners chatter. Really good mood. Really fresh ingredients making yummy cuisine.. And staff with a great attitude. Love lunching at Merricks

My duck dish was very bland, no sauce and the beans was tasteless and mushy. Not a good combination of ingredients. My companion pork dish was not much favour. For the price we paid, the food was below average
