We are a family-owned, full-service restaurant in Saugatuck, MI, serving fresh fish and other favorites. Our dockside eatery has patio seating and overlooks the Kalamazoo River. Excellent customer service is important to us. It was a wonderful dining experience. Waterfront view with excellent food as well. Our server, Devon, was attentive and very accommodating. A perfect place to dine in Saugatuck!

The kitchen struggled through dinner service and it took way too long so that affected our experience. I would try this restaurant again - our waitress was great and the food did taste incredible.

We joined the waitlist online which is nice to do. It was all downhill from there. The waiter was pleasant,and took our order in a timely manner. We waited one hour and twenty minutes before our food arrived! The food was disappointing. I had a fish tacos, but could barely find any fish on them. My husband had a burger. The burger was like a smash burger that you would get at a fast food restaurant! You pay a high price for I am guessing the atmosphere, not for the food.! We used to enjoy dinner there in the past, but never again. To many other great options!

Put in a special request to be seated outside, on the water. We were 7th on the waiting list and got there before our name was called and checked in with the host. I mentioned again that we’d like to sit on the water and she said point blank, not going to happen. She said they don’t take special requests (even though the open table for mermaid has a spot to add such which I showed her exactly where it was written). She said I could remove myself from the waitlist and go to the bottom of the list and see what happens. I said we are willing to wait, just bypass us on the waitlist and we will wait till a spot opens up and she still would not accommodate. It was one of those situations where you know the host “could” help if she felt so called, but “refused” to do anything at all instead. We were already there, the kids were hungry so we opted to stay. We were seated at the furthest table from the water and surrounded by black barrier fencing unable to see the views. The fish fry was just ok. The Moscow mule was decent. The walleye was horrible. Literally Inedible. Overcooked, dry, and for lack of a better description extra fishy tasting. The only redeeming quality of the restaurant was the server. She was kind and friendly. The host however started the whole evening on the wrong foot and it went downhill front there.

The outdoor waterfront tables provided a beautiful, relaxing setting for a wonderful meal. Went there in mid-August ..on a perfect Michigan summer day. Surprisingly, the restaurant had above-average service - which, with the staffing challenges these days, was truly unexpected. The food quality was also above-average. Definitely recommend for those visiting Saugatuck, MI.
