I was really looking forward to dining at Meril, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. We waited a long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, they brought the main course before the appetizers, which was disappointing. I could tell the staff was overwhelmed, and as a former server, I can empathize. However, the disorganization affected the overall experience. The food itself didn’t live up to my expectations, especially considering Emeril’s reputation and the New Orleans culinary heritage. I was hoping for more given the hype surrounding the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our engagement! Kevin and Reina were great servers. They were kind and helpful and our glasses were never empty. Most of the dishes were incredible! The shrimp and pork dumplings were spectacular, we also loved the stuffed chicken wings, the smoked fish dip, broccoli and the flatbread. Dessert was also amazing, we had the strawberry shortcake cone, birthday cake cookie skillet and grape cotton candy. We love Meril and go for many of our celebrations and we will be back.

Terrible service. The waiter didn’t seem to care about anything. Part of the problem was He seemed to have too many tables to take care of. But mainly he didn’t seem to care.

Great spot for big groups celebrating birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties etc. Gave service high marks for working hard to wait on tables of 10 and also smaller parties seated at the same time. Food was so-so, not as good as previous visits but could be because of large orders coming through at once.

Service was very very slow and noise level was beyond loud. Conversations were impossible!!

We seldom eat at a table usually eat at the bar which is always wonderful. We decided to sit at a table and started out with Isiah as our server then he went on ignore and another server stepped up and I don’t know his name. It took approx 30 minutes (prob more) to get our bread and flatbread appetizer. We had to ask for it. Then we ordered our food which came out timely and was delicious. The restaurant wasn’t busy but the servers were not impressive for an Emeril Lagasse restaurant.
