Meridian Restaurant is located inside of Compass Entertainment Complex and has a full-service bar and restaurant. Our chef-driven menu varies seasonally and includes house-made pizza, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, fish of the day, pasta specialties, steak, and appetizers for the whole table to share. Join us for a relaxing dinner or grab a quick bite before a movie at our Cinema 6 theaters.

Compass Entertainment has won Best Movie Theater & Best Family Entertainment Center for the Eastern Region of Virginia for 4 years in a row since opening in 2019.

The service was excellent. The food was very good. The ambiance was pleasing. The cost of the two meals was fine for the amount of food served.

We started with the crab dip which was full of crab and cheesy. The fish and chips had a large piece of fish, fried the traditional fish & chips way. It was very much worth the $15 on the menu and came with a large serving of fish. We did not try the desserts but will be back and try them the next time we visit.

Fish and chips were just ok. I ordered pepperoni and pineapple pizza and the other friend ordered tacos and they were good. By the time we received our food, someone different brought it to the table. They brought out a pepperoni pizza. I asked where was the pineapple. I was told “yeah we ran out but Anton is at food lion now getting some”. Ok well I think someone should have asked me what else I wanted in the pizza or did I want to change my order. But it’s fine. However my friends laughed at how hard it was for me to cut the pizza - I was moving the whole table so I ended up just eating some cheese and pepperoni. It tasted like microwave pizza. I just would not recommend eating here.

Running out of ingredients and not communicating with you about the change was an oversight on our part, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Great place to have lunch or dinner before or after a movie. The new menu is great with a lot of good choices.

Meridan was a nice place to have a meal after the movie. The service was good, the food tasty and the prices reasonable. I will definitely go back!

So sorry we missed that request on the reservation about the birthday surprise! We are just getting used to Open Table and the servers are not trained to look for special requests, birthdays, anniversary, etc. We will be sure to add that to our training regimen. Seriously understaffed on a Friday night. Meal took roughly 1.5 hours to come out. One appetizer came out 10 minutes before that, the other appetizer they just totally forgot about. Still think it's a good option but they totally dropped the ball that night.

Sunday Jazz lunch is a perfect way to relax and have lunch after church. We will be back again.

Disappointing overall. Understaffed. Staff on duty not properly trained. Incredibly slow service on food. Majority of dishes were ok. Loved the French fries.
