Located inside Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa, Meridian Restaurant & Bar offers cuisine inspired by the natural rugged beauty of the North Oregon Coast. Meridian sources its creations from the sea, local farmers, and its own herb garden to create casually elegant dishes that capture the bounty and spirit of its surroundings. Enjoy dining in the restaurant with its exposed beams, Oregon hardwoods, sky-high windows and expansive views of the Pacific Ocean for a stylish but relaxed dining experience. Guests of Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa may order in and share an intimate meal on their private oceanfront balcony.

Open daily for Breakfast 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Happy Hour 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  and Dinner 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. For our Lodge and Cottage guests, in-room dining is available from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Food and ambiance were excellent. We had THE best oysters we have ever eaten . Truly loved the live jazz guitar player. Just wished he was there longer! Service was outstanding. Shawn (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) went above and beyond. First he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local area, where the food (and wine) came from and how it was prepared. He consistently checked on us throughout the meal and also provided some very helpful advice on where to stop for the next leg of our road trip. Highly recommend.

The bar, host and waitress were all spectacular. Good service is that which make a dining experience wonderful. The restaurant is in keeping with today’s design, a bit sterile; true of so many restaurants now. The view is wonderful. The food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. My ribeye was good, and had an unexpected wonderful taste. My wife enjoyed her scallops.

Food and ambience were good, restaurant may have been understaffed or server might have been having a bad day but forgot multiple things during our service. (Forgot what we ordered twice and had to come back and ask 10 and 15 minutes later, forgot the beverage and had to remove it from the bill after, forgot to bring share plates when asked, etc.) Despite apologizing and acknowledging their mistakes (which was appreciated), they didn’t offer anything to make up for it (no discount, no comped items)

Excellent service from Brandon, as always. Drinks were great. Wagyu burgers were very good. Clams with pasta was OK.

The entire hotel staff just needs more training. It's not the staff's fault. But you walk up to the host stand, no one comes to greet you for several minutes. Because there is no host staff. It's just a server who will come over when they are free. Then they ask the stupid question "Can I help you? Come on, I'm here to eat, obviously. Menu is limited. Nothing local which is disappointing after watching the dory boats go out all day long to fish. This is a missed opportunity to highlight all of the local stuff fished, harvested and grown locally on the coast. Jacobsen's Sea Salt is just a few minutes up the road. Use it in your food. Restaurant was filled with flies. I mean there were maybe 10 flies on each table. Made it really unpleasant to eat your food while swatting them away off your face and table. Had to ask for more water, coffee, the check. They are just not attentive. It's just expensive for the staff not to be on their A Game and serve better food.

VERY expensive! Food was fair. Not good enough to support the pricing. Had to send 36.00 burger back because was over cooked. Waitress left used drink glasses on table. Just not impressed!

A modern, upscale vibe on the water. Great views. We ordered the wagyu burger and the polenta. For a $36 burger, my husband hoped for more than a regular bun and a bland burger. The homemade kettle chips were on the greasy side. My polenta triangles were crispy and tasty, but the kale slaw and ragu seemed bland as well. Both dishes would have been great if they were seasoned more interestingly. All in all, it was fine, but mainly because of the view, but the price tag was high.

Server was friendly but painfully slow and inattentive. Menu a tad limited. We had clams and pasta , clams were perfect but pasta was under done and it was basically served as a soup with way too much sauce.
